5 Ways Marvel Can Handle Losing Robert Downey Jr.

Based on recent comments, Iron Man actor Robert Downey, Jr. may be looking to end his decade-long tenure as the face of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Given how many times Downey has played Tony Stark over the years, we can't really blame him if he does choose to move on and spend more time swimming in his Scrooge McDuck-style money vault. Sooner or later, Downey is going to hang up his amor for the final time.

That does leave the MCU in a tough spot, however. Can Marvel Studios soldier on without its biggest and most bankable star? Should Tony Stark remain a fixture in the MCU, or should he be retired in favor of a newer, younger (and cheaper) generation of heroes? We have a few ideas on how Marvel could respond to a Downey-less MCU.

Destiny 2: Milestones, Flashpoints, and Our First Impressions

Destiny 2 takes everything you know about the original game and molds it into a refined, sleek, and shiny new model. Having played it on PC, it’s hard not to be impressed with the additional attention to detail – be it the rain showering down on the tower or the fiery explosions erupting as you ignite a Cabal’s fuel tank. The sequel’s paramount goal, however, is to address the one major concern heard loudly and clearly through the halls of Bungie: crafting a better story. They’ve reinforced this goal at every turn, and our brief time playing through the “Homecoming” mission at the reveal event in May and again at E3 on PC has done more than enough to quell any concerns we had about the narrative.

Game of Thrones S7 Has Jon and Sansa in a ‘Power Struggle’

Game of Thrones star Kit Harington has come forward to shed light on what Season 7 holds for the relationship between Jon Snow and Sophie Turner's Sansa Stark.

"There is definite tension between them right from the first scene," Harington told Entertainment Weekly. According to the actor, prior issues between the two persist, with Sansa questioning his leadership and Snow refusing to listen.

While Harington refrained from discussing where that tension might take the two, he did say, "It gets past sibling squabbling, it gets into two people power struggling."

The actor went on to note that Snow is "more sure of himself" in Season 7, which has proven to be "a nice change" for Harington. "He doesn’t just know what he's got to do but he's more sure of what he's saying—whereas before there was always some fear and doubt," he explained.

The Best of Darth Maul

When fans discuss the best parts of the Star Wars prequels, Darth Maul is often cited as a highlight. The Zabrak from Dathomir made an impression with his tattooed skin, smooth martial arts moves, and double-bladed lightsaber in The Phantom Menace. And there was also that whole business with killing Qui-Gon Jinn and getting cut in half by Obi-Wan Kenobi. Though it certainly seemed like the end of the character, he survived.

So, if you've ever found yourself saying, "Man, I wish I could enjoy more stories about Darth Maul," then you're in luck. To kick off a new series to help you explore your favorite characters, organizations, and more in Legends and the current Star Wars universe canon, we're taking a mostly spoiler-free look at how you can get your Maul fix. So if you want more of Darth Maul, put on your horns and check out these stories...

First Arms DLC Character to Be Released Next Week

Arms' first DLC character, Max Brass, will be released on July 12.

"The Commish," as he's otherwise known, will join the fight via a free update next week, Nintendo announced.

Max Brass has been the top fighter for years and has the ability to avoid flinching while taking attacks when his arms are charged up. The new character also has a similar power to Spring Man, in that both fighters' arms are permanently charged when their health reaches below 20 percent.

Read IGN's Arms review to find out why we believe the game "brings surprising depth to the world of extendable-arm boxing, and its adapting party lobby is a great surprise."

Zelda: Breath of the Wild DLC 2 – Link Will Be Main Character

The Legend of Zelda's producer has cleared up a small element about Breath of the Wild's second DLC drop - you will be playing as Link in the new story component - as well as revealed some first footage and new details.

The Champions' Ballad looks to be a prequel to the main game, featuring the four Champions of Hyrule who accompanied Link and Zelda as they prepared to fight Ganon.

That had led to some speculation as to whether we'd be taking control of some of those champions, or even Zelda herself. Speaking at Japan Expo (and reported by Nintendo of Europe), Eiji Aonuma has now cleared that up, saying "you'll still play as Link".

That announcement was accompanied by the first footage from the DLC pack (although there's not a lot to go on):
