PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds: Final Release Delayed
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds will not hit its final release in the window its developer had hoped. A 1.0 version was originally scheduled for within six months of its Early Access launch, but the full game is still scheduled to arrive by the end of this year.
Speaking on the game's Steam page, Brendan "PlayerUnknown" Greene said:
"Over the past few months I have done a lot of interviews, and in many of them, I said we hoped to be out of Early Access six months after we first launched. I’ve come to realize that restricting the window to a specific month could hinder us from delivering a fully featured game and/or lead to disappointment within the community if the launch deadline is not met.
New Hearthstone Expansion Announced
Blizzard has announced the latest expansion to be released for Hearthstone, Knights of the Frozen Throne, which will introduce 135 new cards to the game.
Set to be released in August, Knights of the Frozen Throne will see players travel to Northend in an effort to attack the Lich King's Icecrown Citadel and claim the titular Frozen Throne. The new expansion also brings with it nine legendary Hero Cards that, after being played, transform the game's heroes into Death Knights, who possess frost-tinged armor and altered powers. The new power Lifesteal will also be introduced, healing players for damage dealt.
Knights of the Frozen Throne will also introduce free missions available to all players, allowing them to explore the Icecrown Citadel and engage in battles with bosses like Professor Putricide and Sindragosa. Completing the new prologue mission will earn heroes a random legendary Death Knight Hero card.
Homecoming Sequel Aims to Have Never-Before-Used Villain
The sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming will likely feature a villain that has not yet appeared on the big screen.
When asked by the Toronto Sun if he had any idea yet who the villain in the next Spider-Man movie might be, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said they want to introduce foes that haven't yet been featured.
"We are excited to use characters that you haven't seen before on screen. So that narrows it down a little bit in terms of who will pop up next," Feige said. "Spider-Man has an embarrassment of riches when it comes to villains and there are a lot that haven't been touched upon. It's those that we will be looking at first."

Destiny 2: Bungie’s Vision for the Sequel
"Making the sequel to a game like Destiny is...hard," said game director Luke Smith. "Hard in the way that making a sequel to anything people love is hard, but it's challenging because we have this game that brings people together over and over and with making a sequel, one of the first things we thought about doing was, 'How are we going to bring more people into this world?' That was one of our big challenges up front when we started thinking about the roads that we as Bungie could go down with Destiny."
Project lead Mark Noseworthy added, "We are trying to make it a fresh start for everyone. So whether you're steeped in Destiny lore and you've read every grimoire card and played for thousands of hours, or you're brand new to Destiny, you can get something out of Destiny 2, and you start at the same spot. We're trying to really look when we're making a sequel, how do we make this a new platform for years of ongoing content and make it easier for people to get into."
