The Batman Director Matt Reeves on Possible Trilogy
The Batman director Matt Reeves recently spoke to the possibility of his upcoming DC film serving as the start of a trilogy centered around the Dark Knight.
"I have ideas about an arc, but really, the important thing is just to start... you have to start with one," Reeves said in an interview with Fandango.
Reeves, who directed the upcoming War for the Planet of the Apes, went on to add that "you have to start with a story that begins something," noting that the story arc for the trio of new Apes films wasn't mapped out beforehand.

Supergirl Casts Smallville’s Erica Durance as Alura for S3
Erica Durance, best known for her role as Lois Lane in Smallville, has joined the cast of Supergirl and will play Alura in Season 3.
The actress will appear as Kara's mother in a recurring arc, taking over for Laura Benanti, who "was unable to continue in the role due to work commitments in NY," according to executive producer Andrew Kreisberg.

"We are so blessed that Erica has come aboard to offer her own interpretation of Kara's mother," Kreisberg added. "We had tremendous success with a former Lois Lane last season with Teri Hatcher. We know Erica will continue the proud tradition of legacy actors joining our shows and creating new and exciting takes on classic DC characters."
