Frank Miller Announced Superman: Year One
Comic book luminary Frank Miller is keeping very busy these days. Not only is he back at work on his long-gestating 300 prequel graphic novel, he's also developing his own take on the origin of Superman.
That news came as Miller crashed DC's "Master Class" panel at SDCC tonight. Miller showed up to reveal that he's writing a mini-series called Superman: Year One. John Romita Jr. will provide the art for this series. Romita recently teamed with Miller on The Dark Knight Returns: The Last Crusade. “

Comic-Con 2017: First Captain Marvel Details
At SDCC today, Marvel announced that Captain Marvel will be set in the early 1990s, before the events of the first Iron Man.
The Skrulls are going to be the leading villains, with concept art shown exclusively at Marvel's panel revealing strong likeness to their comic book designs.
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige also confirmed that Nick Fury is going to have a presence in the film - with both eyes still intact.
As announced in July 2016, Brie Larson is set to play Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers), and the film is being directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck.

Michelle Pfeiffer will join Ant-Man and the Wasp as Janet van Dyne, Laurence Fishburne as Dr. Bill Foster, and Walton Goggins as Sonny Birch, Paul Rudd (Ant-Man) and Michael Pena (Luis) announced at Marvel's San Diego Comic-Con panel.
Janet van Dyne was previously played by Hayley Lovitt in the first Ant-Man. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige said Pfeiffer was their "dream choice" for the role at the panel. Goggin's involvement with the film was revealed earlier this month without details of his role.
Sonny Burch was chairman of a weapons design company, who was once linked to Obadiah Stane, the villain from the original Iron Man. In the comics, when Tony Stark revealed that he was Iron Man, it meant that the US Government had rights to the Iron Man armor. Burch claimed a lot of Stark’s technology and began selling it to the US government. He was more concerned with profit than safety.

The Thinker has come up with a plan to fix what he finds wrong with humanity, and it's up to Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) to stop his nefarious efforts.
31 Screenshots From the New Stranger Things: S2 Trailer
Netflix has released a new trailer for Stranger Things: Season 2, teasing the Upside Down, Eleven's return and the Halloween theme.
The screenshot slideshow below captures those elements from the Stranger Things trailer and more. Check out the kids hanging out at an arcade, Will's mother Joyce looking concerned as always and Steve rocking some sweet shades.
As can be seen from the screenshots, Stranger Things: Season 2 — which aims to be "weirder and darker" than the last — picks up quickly from where things were left off. There are several new characters, however, like a "kind-hearted former nerd" played by Samwise Gamgee himself, Sean Astin.
Check Out DC’s Gorgeous Wildstorm Anniversary Book
2017 marks the 25th anniversary of DC's Wildstorm imprint. DC marked the occasion with the "DC Celebrates Wildstorm's 25th Anniversary" panel at SDCC today. Wildstorm founder and DC Co-publisher Jim Lee was in attendance, as were creators like J. Scott Campbell, Dustin Nguyen, Ryan Benjamin, Lee Bermejo, Carlos D'Anda, Sandra Hope and Alex Sinclair.
The panel focused mainly on the various creators reminiscing about the early days of the company before it was acquired by DC and the crazy parties Lee used to host (including a "pajama and cereal" party for the premiere of the WildCATS cartoon). However, the creators also discussed the upcoming Wildstorm: A Celebration of 25 Years hardcover, which will feature a wealth of pinup art, previously unpublished material and even some brand new short stories for books like WildCATS, The Authority, Gen 13 and Backlash.
