Wolfenstein 2’s Talking is Better Than Its Robot-Dog Riding
Before I started playing Wolfenstein 2, I was told I would get to pilot a giant, mechanical, fire-breathing dog. As you might expect, that’s pretty much the main part I was looking forward to as I shot Nazis and charged through crumbling walls. But what I didn’t expect is that the sequel’s cutscenes would blow me away more than melting my enemies.
Picking up the top-notch storytelling and character development of the first game, the cutscenes I saw from Wolfenstein 2 were even more impressive. The way each scene was filmed and cut together made them feel more like clips from some new Netflix show than mere exposition in a videogame.
Jeepers Creepers 3: An Interview with the Creeper
With Jeepers Creepers 3 just one day away from its somewhat surprising theatrical release, I chatted with Jonathan Breck, the actor who plays the monster known as the Creeper in all three films.
He talked about not just what made the first film such a hit but also dropped a few hints about where the franchise might be headed in the future.
IGN: One of the biggest draws of this franchise is the unique, original monster, The Creeper. Part of that is it has a great look and design. For me though, one thing that sets it apart is the way it moves. A quick flick of the wrist and out pops an ax from behind its back, or the way it flips its coat like a matador and stalks back and forth. Even though he has this brutish presence, there’s a grace to it. What influenced you in coming up with the way the Creeper moves?

Marvel Comics recently revealed Phoenix Resurrection: The Return of Jean Grey, a new miniseries that will bring back the adult Jean Grey after an almost 14 year absence. It's huge news for X-Men fans who have been pining for Jean's return ever since she was killed off in New X-Men #150.

Vivendi Unsure Whether to Take Over Ubisoft or Sell Shares
French media conglomerate Vivendi is reportedly in the process of deciding whether it should increase its stock holdings in Ubisoft or sell its shares.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has previously called the potential of a Vivendi takeover a "disaster", but a Bloomberg report of an AGM interview with Vivendi executives indicates that the media giant (which previously owned Activision) may be starting to look elsewhere.
That's by no means certain, however. Vivendi already owns 26% of the French publisher, and later this year its shareholder voting rights will increase, allowing it to potentially bring that share up to 30%. Under French law, this would put Vivendi over a threshold where it is required to bid for an Ubisoft takeover.

Abandoned Xbox Smartwatch Allegedly Revealed
Images have surfaced that seem to reveal a never-produced Xbox brand smartwatch from Microsoft.
SuomiMobiili reports (via Neowin) that these images may depict the never released Xbox wearable that Microsoft was rumored to be developing back in 2013. The potential device was rumored to be slated for release in 2015 but instead, we saw the quite different-looking Microsoft Band hit shelves late 2014.
Avatar Sequels Begin Filming
Nearly eight years after the release of the original, James Cameron has officially started production on the four(!) Avatar sequels.
Deadline reports that the blockbuster films have finally begun filming in Manhattan Beach today after the sequels had already been delayed multiple times.
Avatar 2 is now slated for release in 2020, but all four movies will be shot in succession, which makes the estimated collective budget of over $1 billion USD the most expensive shoot in history.
