Did John Cena Wrestle His Last Match at No Mercy?
Warning: Spoilers for WWE's No Mercy PPV from Sunday, September 24th
At No Mercy, following his pinfall loss to Roman Reigns, 16-time world champ John Cena lingered in the ring for a while, in solemn reflection, acting as if it was his retirement match. He slowly gathered himself, consoled some children at ringside, and took that long walk up the aisle. Fans even chanted "Thank You Cena!" as the moment certainly felt like a farewell.
We know Cena's getting old, his body's worn out, certain factions in Hollywood are calling - was this his last match? Like Undertaker, did Cena go out in a match with Roman Reigns that was not advertised ahead of time as a career-ending final bout?
Attack on Titan 2 Coming to Nintendo Switch
Koei Tecmo's Attack on Titan 2 will have a western release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PC via Steam, and Xbox One, the company announced at Tokyo Game Show 2017.
The title serves as a sequel to 2016's Attack on Titan game (known as Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom in Europe), and is not to be confused with Spike Chunsoft's 3DS game Attack on Titan 2: Future Coordinates.
Attack on Titan 2 is set during the show's second season and is a hack-and-slash affair, allowing players to control various different Titans from the series. The game will also offer new challenges for players to take on, newly improved omni-directional mobility gear to try on, and more advanced RPG elements.
Yooka-Laylee Switch Release Held Up By Engine Problems
Yooka-Laylee still doesn't have a release date for Nintendo Switch because of engine issues.
On Kickstarter, Playtonic touched on the team's problems bringing the action-adventure game to the hybrid system. While the developer promises it's "nearly there" with the Switch version of Yooka-Laylee, there are tech difficulties delaying a set timeframe for launch.
"... We've encountered some final technical hurdles and had been waiting for the arrival of Unity 5.6 in order to fix them," Playtonic said. "Although this has now been released, it has unfortunately introduced other issues which we are working with Unity to resolve before we can submit to Nintendo and lock in our release timeline."
WWE 2K18 Has a PC Release Date
For the first time in the WWE 2K series' history, WWE 2K18 will be released on PC at the same time it is being released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The latest game in the popular pro wrestling series will be available on Steam, and at other PC game retailers, starting October 17.
Both the standard and deluxe editions of the game will be available on that date. However, PC games will not have the ability to take advantage of the Early Access Deluxe Edition perk. That being said, if you preorder either version of the game, you will receive two versions of Kurt Angle as a playable character. Additionally, those who buy the standard version of the game will be given the opportunity to download extra content in an a la carte fashion.

Forza 7 Fate of the Furious Car Pack Revealed
Turn 10 Studios, in collaboration with Universal Studios, has announced the Fate of the Furious Car Pack for Forza Motorsport 7.
The DLC features 10 vehicles inspired by the most recent Fast & Furious film, which will be free to those who purchase the Forza 7 Ultimate or Deluxe Editions, according to Xbox Wire. The pack will also be available as a standalone download for $10 USD. Get a closer look at each of the new cars in the slideshow below.
This isn't the first time these two racing franchises have collided — Microsoft and Universal previously released Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious, a standalone version of Forza Horizon 2 featuring cars and a storyline from the Fast & Furious series. And it's also not the first Fate of the Furious gaming crossover this year, as Rocket League received Fast and Furious-based content earlier this year.

Just Cause Dev Hiring for Projects on “Next-Gen Platforms”
Avalanche Studios has begun hiring for a project being developed for "both current and next gen platforms."
Noted by NeoGAF user (and job listing spotter supreme) Nirolak, listings for a Technical Director and a Senior Multiplayer Programmer at the developer's Stockholm studio both reference working on the studio's next "open world / sandbox multiplayer engine".
Given that next-gen is only mentioned with regard to the company's engine, not a specific game, it may well be that this is a matter of future-proofing (although other listings in Stockholm do mention "an unannounced AAA title").
The Best of Movies at NYCC
New York Comic-Con will soon be upon us once again, and that means it's time to delve into our annual preview of what we expect will be the best and most exciting happenings at the show. NYCC is always a great showcase of awesome TV shows, exciting video games, epic movies and the best of the best in comics -- and 2017 is shaping up to be no different.
Let's start today with the three movie events we’re most excited to see at this year’s NYCC, and be sure to check back throughout the week for what we're looking forward to in TV, comics, and games too...
Panel: October 6th at 12 p.m. ET
The biggest film at NYCC by far is Universal’s Pacific Rim: Uprising, the John Boyega and Scott Eastwood-starring follow up to 2013’s Pacific Rim. We’ll bet that the first trailer for Uprising will make its debut at the movie’s panel in Madison Square Garden, so make sure to keep an eye out on Friday, October 6th.
Kingsman 2: Firth’s Return Had to Have ‘Consequences’
Warning: Spoilers for both Kingsman films follow.
The decision to bring back Colin Firth's character, Kingsman agent Harry "Galahad" Hart, for Kingsman: The Golden Circle was not taken lightly by either director Matthew Vaughn or his co-screenwriter Jane Goldman.
Harry's return was, as Goldman told me in a recent phone interview, something they hadn't even considered when they seemingly killed off the character in 2015's Kingsman: The Secret Service. But once that film became a success and a sequel was in the cards, they wrestled with the notion of bringing Harry back from the (not quite) dead.
"As soon as the thought of a sequel did come up, we didn’t like the thought of one without Colin in it as much as we liked the thought of one with Colin in it, because we loved the dynamic between Harry and Eggsy," Goldman said.
