Ghosbusters Board Game Gets Kickstarter
Cryptozoic Entertainment is teaming up with Sony Pictures to make sure your favorite paranormal exterminators show up at your next game night with Ghostbusters: The Board Game. And they're using Kickstarter to make it happen.
The episodic adventure game is for 1 to 4 players, ages 15 and up, who will choose to play as one of the four Ghostbusters central figures: Peter Venkman, Egon Spengler, Winston Zeddemore and Ray Stantz. After selecting from one of the game's pre-written scenarios, players kick off a game that can last up to 2 hours depending on the scenario and level of difficulty. Each Ghostbuster character has distinct talents that can assist the team and, by banishing evil spirits, players will unlock new abilities that help them progress in the game.
Telltale Calls Next Project Its ‘Most Ambitious’ Ever
Telltale CEO Kevin Bruner hinted at the company's upcoming original IP, calling it "most ambitious thing the company has ever done."
In an interview with GamesIndustry, Bruner stopped short of naming the new project. He did say that Telltale is very excited to talk about it, "but we can't say much more right now." He added that it's the "perfect thing for us."
"It's something we're pouring a lot of love into," he said. He added that Telltale always puts storytelling first, and from there "we think about interactivity as a tool for storytelling."
Telltale has found its niche in novel approaches to established IPs such as The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and even Minecraft. "There's a lot of Minecraft advocates at Telltale."

Speculation suggests it may be suggesting a forthcoming announcement related to the 2013 Vita game Killzone: Mercenary, but there's little solid evidence to prove what exactly this message is about. We will update you with any additional information or announcements.
Documentary Explores Motivations of Mars Colonists
The Mars One mission is asking for volunteers to colonize the red planet, and some might ask why anyone would sign up. Thanks to a new documentary from The Guardian, we now have answers. The ten-minute film, “If I Die on Mars”, asks volunteers why they signed on to spend the rest of their lives on an alien planet millions of miles from home.
“Hundred of years down the line, who's going to know who was the President of the United States or something?” asked one volunteer, “but everyone will remember" the first four people who stepped on Mars.
Over 200,000 people applied for a chance to be one of those four members of the first colonization mission, and according to the documentary there are now just 660 finalists. Are all of them just in it for the chance to be remembered?

Make Your House a Drone-Free No-Fly Zone
You can now register a no-fly zone over your home to deter drone operators from invading your privacy.
All you need to do is enter your address into NoFlyZone.org, provide and verify some additional information, and the site will store the GPS coordinates of your place of residence for drones worldwide to avoid.
NoFlyZone actually coordinates with drone manufacturers to make this happen, though the service does not guarantee all drones and their operators will follow the rules.
According to the website, only drones produced by one of NoFlyZone's participating manufacturers will be programmed to avoid designated property.

Wrestling Wrap Up: Roman Reigns Spears Daniel Bryan
I was all set to do a rather humdrum Wrap Up this week. Nothing special. Typical "Road to the PPV before WrestleMania" stuff. Some more musings about where the WWE might go with Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns. It was looking like the best option, at this point, was Bryan leading Reigns through an awesome match at Fastlane and putting him over clean. Then shaking his hand afterward, raising his arm, and giving him the full endorsement. Not great, but good enough.
