Binding of Isaac Afterbirth DLC Announced
Edmund McMillen has revealed details about The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth's upcoming DLC Afterbirth.
According to his latest blog post, he plans to release it sometime in 2015, "hopefully around the middle" of the year.
The expansion features a ton of new stuff, including 100 items, 10 challenges, a new playable character, an alternate final chapter, and new bosses and enemies. McMillen says that the new content should "easily" extend the gameplay time by up to another 200 hours.
Afterbirth will also contain a new game mode "that will totally change how you play," though McMillen didn't provide further details.
Mattel’s New View-Master Uses Google Cardboard VR
At the World Toy Fair today in New York, Mattel announced a collaboration with Google to give the iconic View-Master toy a 21st century makeover.
The all-new View-Master works with Google Cardboard VR technology to transform those once flat photo reels into 360-degree "photospheres". By fitting an Android smartphone into the viewer and opening up the companion app, users will be able to explore, interact with, and learn about famous cities, landmarks, planets, and more.
Mattel says it plans to work with other Google Cardboard developers to create additional "experience reels" for the device.

According to Deadline, the Inception and Dark Knight Rises actress' role in the movie is being kept under wraps.

Batman, SHIELD, Spider-Man Stars Get Animated
Debuting Friday night on Disney XD -- following a special holiday-themed episode in December -- the new animated comedy Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero follows the title character (voiced by Silicon Valley's Thomas Middleditch) as he travels to other dimensions to fill in for heroes in need, alongside his two friends (Workaholics' Adam DeVine and Enlisted's Tania Gunadi). Lea Thompson (Back to the Future), Gary Cole (Veep), Rosie Perez (The View) and Lenny Venito (The Neighbors) have recurring roles.
A bevy of guest stars will appear on the show's first season, including Garry Marshall (Happy Days), Beau Bridges (The Descendants), Sigourney Weaver (Avatar), Sean Astin (Lord of the Rings), Wanda Sykes (The New Adventures of Old Christine), Jason Alexander (Seinfeld), Jeff Gordon (NASCAR driver), Diana Rigg (Game of Thrones), Paul Reubens (Pee-Wee's Playhouse), Jane Kaczmarek (Malcolm in the Middle), Chris Parnell (Saturday Night Live), Peter Stormare (The Blacklist), Maria Bamford (Arrested Development) and Olivia Holt (Disney Channel's I Didn't Do It). Plus, you'll hear none other than the Caped Crusader himself, as Adam West voices Captain Super Captain, as you can see in the clip below.
NBA Live 15 Coming to EA Access
Last year's entry in the NBA Live series, NBA Live 15, is being added to the EA Access subscription service on Xbox One, according to an image on the Xbox website.
If the image is to be believed, NBA Live 15 will be the eighth game added to The Vault, joining EA Sports UFC, Battlefield 4, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, Need for Speed Rivals, Madden NFL 25, FIFA 14, and Peggle 2.

Shooting on Paramount Pictures' Beverly Hills Cop 4 won't begin until the studio is able to get the script "right," according to the film's star, Eddie Murphy.
When asked if shooting will begin next month, Murphy told Playboy, "I don’t think it’s gonna happen in March, but it is gonna be in Detroit. And before it happens, they’ve got to get that script right. That movie has to be right. The third Beverly Hills Cop was garbage. Those movies, when I travel overseas, people say

From Robocop to Suicide Squad?
Robocop and The Killing's Joel Kinnaman may be joining the ranks of the big screen Suicide Squad.
According to Latino-Review, the actor is being eyed to replace Tom Hardy in the role of the squad's field commander, Rick Flag.
The Hollywood Reporter goes one further and claims Kinnaman is "in early talks" for the film.
Hardy dropped out of the project in January; he and Kinnaman actually co-star together in the forthcoming thriller Child 44.
Space Invaders Movie Still in Development
It had been awhile since we'd heard any updates on the Space Invaders movie, but it looks like Warner Bros. is still moving forward with the project.
Deadline reports that the studio has hired Black List writer Dan Kunka to pen the script for their movie adaptation, based on the classic 1980s arcade game. According to the site, "Kunka has experience finding movies out of high concept, as evidenced by how he made the Black List when he converted a 52-page spec Yellowstone Falls into a film about wolves fighting zombies."
