Nvidia Responds to Lawsuit Claims
Nvidia has responded to claims that it falsely advertised its GTX 970 graphics card.
Users had previously reported that although the card was marketed as having 4GB of video RAM, the upper 512MB operated with a drastically reduced performance.
In a post on the Nvidia blog, Jen-Hsun Huang, president and CEO of the company, stated that this was by design.
"We invented a new memory architecture in Maxwell. This new capability was created so that reduced-configurations of Maxwell can have a larger framebuffer...GTX 970 is a 4GB card. However, the upper 512MB of the additional 1GB is segmented and has reduced bandwidth."

The 100: What’s Next for Lexa and Clarke?
Note: Including a bit of an oddly specific spoiler warning here, as this interview delves into something already revealed in a CW promo for this week's The 100... though it wasn't something the writers wanted revealed beforehand.
With just three weeks left, The 100 is going into the home stretch of Season 2, and war is upon us. Last week saw Clarke (Eliza Clarke), Lexa (Alycia Debnam Carey) and their combined forces set out for Mount Weather, to rescue their people trapped inside, with an inevitable confrontation with the “Mountain Men” close to occurring.
I spoke to The 100’s executive producer and showrunner, Jason Rothenberg, about what’s in store in this week’s new episode and heading into the final episodes of the season.

Power Rangers Owner Wants Video Removed
If you haven't made time to watch Adi Shankar's super dark Mighty Morphin Power Rangers fan video, you might want to do so soon. SCG Power Rangers LLC, the company that owns the rights to the property (and apparently hates things that are fun and awesome), is demanding that the video be taken down.
Check it out here but be warned, the video features explicit language...and explicitly rad James Van Der Beek sword fighting.
The LEGO Movie 2 Enlists Community Director
Warner Bros. has revealed it has secured Community director Rob Schrab to direct The LEGO Movie 2, reports The Wrap. The film will be the first feature gig for Schrab, who has recently directed episodes of several comedy series including Community, The Mindy Project, and Parks and Recreation.
Schrab directed last year’s brilliant Community episode G.I. Jeff, an animated ode to the classic G.I. Joe cartoons from the ’80s.
"Remember, this is all just a cartoon about action figures for kids!"
