Infinity War Trailer Shows Spider-Man’s Spidey Sense

The first teaser trailer for Avengers: Infinity War closed out D23 Expo's live action Disney films panel, and while it remains unclear when and if Marvel will release the Infinity War trailer to the public, there were some very exciting reveals in it -- beyond, you know, the Thanos of it all.

Consider this a spoiler warning if you want to go in completely clean, but as this is a trailer, we will report on it as news.

The release of Spider-Man: Homecoming had many fans questioning whether the Spidey Sense exists in the MCU, and while Kevin Feige has addressed that question already, the Infinity War trailer seems to have put it to rest with one very quick scene.

First Avengers: Infinity War Trailer Details

The first trailer for Avengers: Infinity War was revealed at D23 Expo 2017, and while it's unclear whether Marvel will release the trailer to the public, there was notable news to come out of the footage.

Consider this a spoiler warning if you want to go in completely clean, but as this is a trailer, we will report on it as news.

The trailer for Infinity War opens with the Guardians of the Galaxy, as we last left them, flying through space on the Milano. Mantis says, "We are arriving," and Star-Lord responds that they need to "put on our mean faces."

It's unclear what drew them to this location -- whether a signal or otherwise -- but, as they're flying through the wreckage in space at this location, a body bumps into the ship's windshield. They bring the body into the ship and... it's Thor!

Dumbo Live Action Remake Cast, Release Date Revealed

At the D23 Expo, Disney dropped the first major details on its upcoming live action Dumbo remake.

Tim Burton is confirmed to direct the film, which will hit theaters on March 29, 2019. Disney also confirmed some major casting, including Colin Farrell, Danny Devito, Eva Green, Michael Keaton, Nico Parker, and Finley Hobbins.

Disney's official description is as follows: "Holt Farrier (Farrell) is a former circus star who finds his life turned upside down when he returns from the war. Circus owner Max Medici (DeVito) enlists Holt to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughingstock in an already struggling circus. But when Holt’s children (Parker and Hobbins) discover that Dumbo can fly, persuasive entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Keaton) and an aerial artist named Colette Marchant (Green) swoop in to make the peculiar pachyderm a star."

Aladdin Live-Action Cast Revealed

During the D23 Expo, Disney announced the cast for its upcoming live-action remake of Aladdin.

Mena Massoud will play Aladdin in the film, while Power Rangers' Naomi Scott will play Jasmine. Disney also confirmed that Will Smith will play Genie. Guy Ritchie is confirmed to direct after reports had previously said he was in talks to helm the film.

The inspiration for the film will be both the animated Disney hit, as well as the classic collection of stories One Thousand and One Nights.

Scott's casting was rumored earlier this week, at which time reports also said Disney was struggling to cast the title role. Will Smith had previously been in talks to play Genie after reports had suggested he may also be involved in Tim Burton's upcoming Dumbo film.

Nutcracker and the Four Realms Release Date Announced

Disney announced the release date for its upcoming live-action fantasy film The Nutcracker and the Four Realms during the D23 Expo 2017.

Starring Keira Knightley, Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman, and Mackenzie Foy, Four Realms will be released on November 2, 2018. Knightley plays the Sugar Plum Fairy, while Foy stars as the protagonist Clara and Mirren plays Mother Ginger. Freeman will star as Drosselmeyer.

Disney has also highlighted its upcoming Disney Animation Studios and Pixar films, including The Incredibles 2, which will pick up right after the original The Incredibles, the inclusion of Disney Princesses and Star Wars in Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2, and a new untitled Pixar film. Pixar and Disney also announced a new director for Toy Story 4 during D23 Expo.

Every Upcoming Disney and Pixar Animated Movie

Disney Animation and Pixar's chief creative officer John Lasseter touted the studios' upcoming animated films today at D23 Expo 2017.

While one film that was announced at D23 Expo 2015 was omitted from today's overview -- Gigantic, which has now been pushed to a 2020 release -- a few more were officially announced.

Black Clover Anime Coming to Crunchyroll This Fall

The upcoming anime adaptation of Yuki Tabata's fantasy manga Black Clover is coming to Crunchyroll this October.

Studio Pierrot, the studio behind Naruto, Bleach, Yu Yu Hakusho and several other wildly popular anime, is animating the Black Clover TV series, which is being produced by TV Tokyo.

The manga series, written and illustrated by Tabata, began serialization in February 2015 and is published in Weekly Shonen Jump.

Wreck-It Ralph 2 Includes All the Disney Princesses

The Disney Animation panel at Friday's D23 Expo included an exclusive sneak peek at a mixture of rough and more polished animation from Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2, the high point of which was an extended sequence showing Vanellope Von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman, who was on hand to help present the footage) encountering ALL the Disney animated princesses, from Snow White to Moana.

In the film, Ralph and Vanellope escape the arcade and enter the Internet so she can find a fix for her Sugar Rush game. During their journey, they encounter Yesss, an algorithm of a trending site called Buzzaholic voiced by Empire and Hidden Figures' Taraji P. Henson. She takes them to OhMyDisney.com, where nearly every Disney-owned intellectual property is represented, from Disney and Pixar Animation (we see a Buzz Lightyear toy in a Toy Story 4 product box) to Marvel (hey, look, it's Stan Lee!) and Lucasfilm.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Animated Series Cast Revealed

As part of the D23 Expo, Disney and Marvel have revealed more details on Marvel's Spider-Man, the new animated series coming to Disney XD, as well as the third season of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy animated show.

Spider-Man will debut on Saturday, August 19 on XD with an hour-long premiere at 7 a.m. ET, as well as on the Disney XD app at 12:01 a.m. ET. The show's voice cast was announced during D23 Expo as well, including Robbie Daymond as Spider-Man, Max Mittleman as Harry Osborn, Nadji Jeter as Miles Morales), Melanie Minichino as Anya Corazon, Fred Tatasciore as Max Modell, Laura Bailey as Gwen Stacy, Nancy Linari as Aunt May, Patton Oswalt as Uncle Ben, Scott Menville as Doc Ock, John DiMaggio as The Jackal, Alastair Duncan as Vulture. Marvel's CCO Joe Quesada, who is also on board as an executive producer will voice Joe the coffee shop owner.
