IGN UK Podcast #400: The Live Spectacular
7 podcasters (Krupa was sicking up), 150 audience members, 1 sweaty stage in London, 400 episodes. This is the IGN UK Podcast live show, and we might as well close this website right now because it was so powerfully excellent.
In the two halves of the show, we created the greatest features you could ever hope to hear. In the first part, we polled every member of the podcast and created "The Top 7 List of Everything Ever". In the second half, we played our first ever game of Team Keyword Countdown, and things went OFF.
Thank you to everyone who came along, and to everyone who listens - here's to another 400 episodes of absolute trash. Oh, and extra-special thanks to Alex Newman, creator of our brand-new theme tune. Bye!
Gearbox Confirms Battleborn’s Next Update Will Be Its Last
Battleborn will not receive any future content beyond an update coming this fall.
"As of this week, there will be no more Battleplans and there is currently no planned content after the Fall Update," creative director Randy Varnell said in a post on the Gearbox forums.
The Fall Update will include minor balance changes, as well as a number of Borderlands-themed character skins, including the likes of Claptrap and Zero.
Varnell also spoke to the future of Battleborn and the status of its online servers, assuring fans that "Battleborn is here to stay. Nothing is changing with Battleborn, and the servers will be up and active for the foreseeable future."
History of the Sentinels Explained
Maybe you see the spotlight first as it shines down into the cavernous city below, seeking out its prey. But it’s when you look up that your heart races and you break out into a sweat; there they are, those enormous robotic forms flying in the night sky, grotesque parodies of humanity devised to hunt down those that are different. As their chest beams arc toward you, the only question now is: Are you a human, or are you a mutant?
These are the Sentinels, and with the new X-Men series The Gifted hitting FOX, it’s time to take a closer look at how their nightmarish war against mutantkind began!

Everything We Know About the Inhumans in the MCU
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is growing bigger all the time, with The Inhumans being the latest addition to this massive superhero franchise. This new limited series will introduce MCU fans to Black Bolt, Medusa and the rest of the Inhuman Royal Family as the kingdom of Attilan finally makes itself known to the world.
While these characters are new to the MCU, the Inhuman race itself has been a prominent fixture in Marvel's Agents of SHIELD in the last few years. Here's everything we know about how this group fits into the larger MCU picture.
Agents of SHIELD has established the origin story for the Inhumans in the MCU, revealing them to be the result of genetic experimentation by the alien race known as the Kree. Desperate for new, more powerful soldiers, a group of Kree scientists came to Earth centuries ago and began experimenting on human test subjects. They knew that humanity's vast genetic potential could unlock a new race of super-soldiers.
There’s a NES Emulator Hidden on Every Nintendo Switch
Fans searching through the Nintendo Switch's back-end files have reportedly discovered that every console comes pre-installed with a NES emulator and a modified copy of 1984's NES Golf.
As noted by Switchbrew, an emulator called "flog" (try reading it backwards) has been included on Switch systems since its pre-launch 1.0.0 version.
Flog currently can't be accessed through official means, but when booted up, it runs NES Golf, with one major difference to the original - it supports Joy-Con motion control, allowing you to play shots by holding down L or R and swinging physically.
