Reddit User Reveals Cross-Platform Play Bug in Fortnite

Cross-platform play is something various game companies have experimented with over the past few years, and over the weekend Fortnite players on PS4 and Xbox One got to experience it as the result of a network issue.

The issue was first discovered by Reddit user "PRE_-CISION-_" who noticed something strange while playing Fortnite's Battle Royale mode on his PS4. He was killed by a user named "zCypher Nine" a tag that would be impossible to create on PSN because it contained a space.

Intrigued by his discovery, PRE_-CISION-_ switched over to his Xbox One and did some digging, quickly discovering a user with the same name on Xbox Live, as well as a teammate that zCypher had been playing with. PRE_-CISION-_ documented his evidence in a Reddit post, which contains Twitch clips and screenshots of his discoveries.

Original Jean Grey Returns in Marvel’s Phoenix Resurrection

Jean Grey will be returning to Marvel Comics in December in a five-issue mini-series by writer Matthew Rosenberg and artist Leinil Yu titled Phoenix Resurrection: The Return of Jean Grey.

“I've been an X-Men fan my whole life and Jean is, in my mind, the true soul of the X-Men. So we aren't taking this lightly,” Rosenberg said in a statement from Marvel Comics. “We're going for that perfect balance of universe shaking epic and intimate personal drama that only the X-Men ever truly achieve. This is all hands on deck for the X-Men as every available member heads into battle for the soul of their team and maybe even the fate of the Marvel Universe.”

Back in 2003’s New X-Men #150 by Grant Morrison and Phil Jimenez, Jean died at the hands of Magneto (who was later retconned to be an impostor) and has remained dead ever since.

Warner Bros. has unveiled the first poster for its Tomb Raider movie reboot.

The image, which you can view below, is heavily inspired by the 2013 game reboot and Rise of the Tomb Raider.

The Tomb Raider poster featuring her trademark ice axe.

Alicia Vikander, who plays Lara Croft in the film, is holding what seems to be a red climbing axe, the same type of weapon players wield in the recent games. She also seems to have picked up a similar wound on her right arm, just like in the 2013 game reboot.

CinemaScore: 14 Movies Audiences Hated Most

The CinemaScore is one of the major factors studios use to determine how well a movie will perform at the box office. Unlike Rotten Tomatoes, which calculates ratings based on the official reviews of critics, CinemaScore ratings are determined by polling ordinary moviegoers. The ratings can fall anywhere from A+ to F, and it's pretty rare for a movie to be so universally disliked that it earns the dreaded "F" rating.

Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened with The Grudge, the latest American spinoff of the long-running Japanese horror series. But The Grudge isn't alone. Several other big-name directors have seen their worked slammed with an "F" CinemaScore. From Solaris to mother! to Wolf Creek, here are some other films that placed at the very bottom of CinemaScore's rankings (whether they deserved it or not).

Justice League: Batman/Wonder Woman ‘Know Each Other’s Strengths’

Wonder Woman and Batman know how to work together in Justice League.

In an interview with US Weekly, Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) and Ben Affleck (Batman) spoke about how the two superheroes have changed since their fight with Doomsday in Batman v Superman.

According to Gadot, Diana Prince is more mature now since her solo adventure during World War II and "understands the enemy better than anyone else." Meanwhile, Batman is "finding hope again" in Justice League, and has to find a way to "open up and play well with others."

Fighting side by side with Superman and witnessing his death is what really made Wonder Woman and Batman feel closer to each other.
