Death Stranding: Mads Mikkelsen’s Role May Not Be What You Think
Mads Mikkelsen has revealed a little insight into his character in Death Stranding. Talking to IGN Japan during Tokyo Comic Con last weekend, he avoided giving away specifics, but hinted that his character may not simply be a villain as many have assumed. That is, if Hideo Kojima’s past form is anything to go by.
“The characters are very dualistic in (Kojima’s) games: There is no such thing as a bad guy or a good guy in his games,” Mikkelsen said.
“It is all a challenge; you have to go through these characters to achieve certain things. And it’s also a learning curve, and they will be an obstacle for you sometimes, and sometimes they will be a help for you.”
Mikkelsen went on to suggest that the roles of Death Stranding’s characters may shift as the plot unfolds. “(Kojima’s) games are not as black and white as Hollywood is sometimes,” he said. “So there are more nuances of gray in his world. You’ll have to encounter these characters in different ways throughout the game.”

A new Tomb Raider game is coming, and the reveal will take place with a "major event" in 2018. But there may be more to the announcement than just that confirmation.
The game will be officially revealed beginning "with a major event in 2018," and the team confirmed on Twitter there will be only a short time between the reveal and when players can get their hands on the game. Read the full statement below, and find out why it may confirm the title of the game.
Far Cry 5 Has Been Delayed
Ubisoft has delayed two of its upcoming games, Far Cry 5 and The Crew 2, as well as one unannounced title.
Far Cry 5's release date has been pushed back for one month and will come out on March 27, 2018 instead of its originally announced release date of February 27, 2018. Meanwhile, The Crew 2 will now be released sometime in the first half of the 2018-2019 fiscal year rather than on March 16, 2018. That fiscal year runs from April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019.
In addition, Ubisoft also delayed a third, unannounced franchise title. The game, originally planned for release in the 2018-19 fiscal year, will now come out in the 2019-2020 fiscal year instead. This unknown game is the reason for the delays is to allow developers more time to work on these three games. This is an approach, Ubisoft notes, the company took with past titles like Assassin's Creed Origins.

GTA Online: Doomsday Heist Update Coming Next Week
GTA Online will add an "epic" new heist activity, titled 'The Doomsday Heist' on Tuesday, December 12.
Coming for PS4, Xbox One and PC versions of the game, the update also appears to add new vehicles and equipment to GTA V's multiplayer mode. All previous updates to GTA Online have been free, so we'd assume this will be too.
The Doomsday Heist itself looks to be an even less serious approach to high crime than we're used to from GTA Online - the trailer includes an existential threat on Los Santos, an AI called Clifford, futuristic jetpacks and tanks and, most excitingly, flying DeLorean-style and submersible Lotus Esprit-style cars.
The official press release describes it as:
X-Men: Dark Phoenix: First Plot Details Revealed
We knew X-Men: Dark Phoenix would retell the classic X-Men storyline bungled in 2006's The Last Stand - and now we know how it will do that.
If you don't want to know any plot details for the next X-Men film, turn back now.
As reported by EW, Dark Phoenix will see the younger cast of the franchise in 1992 - around 10 years after X-Men: Apocalypse. The mutant team are now national heroes, with James McAvoy's Charles Xavier landing on the cover of Time Magazine - and inflating his ego a little too far.
Mario + Rabbids Getting Local Two-Player PVP Mode
A new local two-player PVP mode is coming to Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle tomorrow, Ubisoft has announced.
This new "Versus Mode" mode, which is completely free for everyone who owns a copy of the game, will be available via an update on December 8. The mode allows players to compete against a friend on the same screen using a single console as they duke it out across four different battlefields.
You'll select three different heroes from the main game's eight-character roster for your team. In addition you'll have a choice of three presets per hero that provide you with specific skills and stats that will support your strategy on the battlefield.
Why Black Panther Might Have the Last Infinity Stone
All but one of the six Infinity Stones, the orange Soul Stone, have showed up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With the release of the new Infinity War trailer, we have a pretty strong feeling that it resides in Wakanda with Black Panther.
If you haven't already, check out the trailer below.
The trailer for Infinity War shows a massive battle taking place in a location that appears to be Wakanda or just outside of it, with a big team of Avengers leading the charge alongside Black Panther and the Wakandan army. They’re fighting against the Outriders, the alien army belonging to Thanos. Thanos is out to gather all the Infinity Stones to complete the Infinity Gauntlet and gain god-like power, so if he’s sending his army to invade Wakanda, it seems obvious that an Infinity Stone is there.
