Octopath Traveler Won’t Get DLC Because It’s a ‘Complete Game’
Octopath Traveler has no planned DLC because the title is a 'complete game,' says producer Masashi Takahashi.

Takahashi also confirmed that there would be New Game Plus, saying that the studio has made it so that "you can finish the game in one playthrough," but "depending on the order you go about things, the difficulty will organically change."
