Hereditary: How Director Ari Aster Made a Movie that Doesn’t Feel Safe
SPOILERS: The following article discusses scenes and key events from Hereditary. You have been warned...
My favourite horror films are those that flirt with the fantastic. Movies that maintain a weird ambiguity around the reality of their central events. They all eventually table a simple question: is something genuinely supernatural happening here or is a plausible, rational explanation just out of sight?
The Turn of the Screw is the classic example of this effect. It’s entirely possible to read the novella believing the ghosts are real, preying upon young Miles and Flora, and it’s equally viable to interpret them as the delusions of the young governess employed to look after them. The same incidents can be consolidated in different ways, producing two competing interpretations. While The Turn of the Screw never really resolves this effect, most horror movies do.

Joker and Pennywise Try to Scare You in WB’s Horror Made Here
Warner Bros. Pictures announced the specially themed "dark mazes" for this year's Horror Made Here: A Festival of Frights studio tour - IT featuring Pennywise the Dancing Clown, and Arkham Asylum featuring The Joker and other infamous DC villains.
In this special Halloween backstage tour "where your fears come out to play," Warner Bros. transforms its iconic backlot into an area filled with its scariest franchises. This year’s Horror Made Here will "host even more dark mazes, scare zones, horror-themed activities, and plenty of food and drinks available throughout our creepy carnival."
Warner Bros. is known for its famous backlot tours at its Burbank studios, and the tradition of decking the area out for Halloween is expanding. In the IT-themed dark maze, Pennywise is lurking in the Neibolt house, awaiting the fear that feeds it, because "It knows what scares you."

Fortnite: Rocket Launch Event Left More Questions Than Answers
The countdown is over and the rocket has launched, ending Fortnite's first one-time event.
As expected, the rocket launched from the evil lair and headed straight up into the sky. Soon after, a red laser touched down on Tilted Towers and the rocket returned to supposedly destroy the infamous town. Just before impact, the rocket hit what looked liked an invisible shield. The rocket vanished and reappeared a little distance away where it began to move out of control. At the end, the rocket shot back up where it tore a large rip in the sky.
So what changed? For starters, the rocket is now obviously missing from the lair but you can also find the remains of the rocket up north in Anarchy Acres.
