The Flash: Rogues Team-up May Happen Soon

Yesterday, IGN's own Roth Cornet and a handful of other outlets spoke with The Flash executive producer Andrew Kreisberg about what fans can expect to see in the rest of Season 1. While the interview covered a range of different Flash topics (more to come!), a good chunk of it centered around Flash's enemies, particularly The Rogues and whether we may see them all come together at some point. Additionally, Kreisberg dropped a few hints about Peyton List (Tomorrow People) as Lisa Snart -- aka Golden Glider --  and other metahumans set to appear this season... Plus, we'd previously spoken to him on the likelihood of Gorilla Grodd.

So far, The Flash has introduced several of the comics' classic Rogues, but how long  before we see them all come together as a team? "We're going to do something with all the Rogues," Kreisberg confirmed. "I can't promise it'll be this season, but we know that the original Flash series, if they had gotten a second season, both

Chris Pratt Eyed for Indiana Jones Reboot

It’s almost too easy. Guardians of the Galaxy aped/paid homage to Raiders of the Lost Ark, most notably in the scene where Star-Lord snatches the Orb from its resting place, and now Disney is looking at Star-Lord actor Chris Pratt to possibly become the new Indiana Jones.

While details are scarce and it is reportedly very early in the process, Deadline reports that the studio is considering Pratt to play the iconic Harrison Ford character in a new franchise. Latino Review had reported last spring that an Indy reboot was a possibility at the studio, and that Bradley Cooper (another Guardians player!) was one of the names at the top of their list. Of course, that was before Guardians opened and made Pratt a bona fide movie star.

7 Things We Want in Borderlands 3

This weekend at PAX South, CEO and President of Gearbox Randy Pitchford announced that he and his team are ready to start working on the next Borderlands game. He then sent out a call to action: he wants fans to tell him what they want to see in Borderlands 3.

It's an opportunity for fans to let their voices be heard, and here at IGN we have some ideas of our own. We discuss things we'd like to see in the video above - here's our list of some of the things we'd like to see in the next installment of Borderlands:

  • A New Homeworld:  We think a new homeworld with different environments to explore would be spiffy.  And there has to be Eridium and Vaults on other planets, right?

Wrestling Wrap Up: Royal Rumble Angers Fans…Again

There's a lot to get through this week. You know it. I know it. Here's a cat .gif.

tumblr_nip5go0rkF1tyncywo1_400

For the second year in a row now, fans both in attendance and at home have crapped all over the Royal Rumble. It's now been two days since Roman Reigns - AND THE ROCK - got booed in Philly. The WWE, who loves using hashtags, along with flaunting weekly social media numbers victories on RAW and Smackdown, had to sit with a big fat #CancelWWENetwork Twitter trend that lasted overnight and long into Monday. Time, USA Today, and other outlets rans stories about the Royal Rumble fan outrage. I even did a radio interview this morning about the whole thing.

Samsung to Produce Next iPhone’s Chips

Samsung will supply most of the chips for the new iPhone, claim recent reports.

According to unnamed sources cited by South Korean Maeil Business Newspaper, about 75 percent of the A9 processors produced for the next-gen iPhone will come from its own competition, Samsung.

While the bulk of the chips are planned for production at Samsung's factory in Austin, Texas, a previous report from another South Korean publication claims that Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company will take care of the rest.

Samsung declined comment on the speculation.

A few years ago, Apple also used Samsung to manufacture the iPhone 5S's A7 SoC, so it wouldn't be the first time the South Korean company has worked with Apple on that front.

Dead or Alive 5: Last Round Delayed on Steam

Dead or Alive 5: Last Round's release date on Steam has been pushed from February 17 to March 30.

The delay is to assure players have "the best experience possible," according to the game's Steam listing.

To make up for the delay, anyone who purchases Dead or Alive 5: Last Round on Steam will receive the Halloween 2013 Set, which includes twenty-eight costumes.

The listing also notes that online modes will be patched into the game within three months of release.

Honoka was recently revealed as a playable character for Dead or Alive 5: Last Round. The final roster includes thirty-four fighters -- the most for any game in the series.

A Visual History of Venom

Venom has ranked among Spider-Man's most popular and iconic foes since he debuted in the late '80s. But this toothy villain has taken many forms over the years. The alien symbiote has evolved and transformed and bonded with numerous hosts since its breakup with Peter Parker. Venom has been a villain, an ally, an anti-hero, a soldier, and even a Guardian of the Galaxy.

Through it all, the basics of Venom's appearance have rarely changed. His stark black-and-white costume mixed with his bulging muscles and gaping jaws make him quite an imposing figure. But that hasn't stopped creators from playing around with Venom's appearance in the comics and other media. Just last week, Venom changed looks again in the pages of Guardians of the Galaxy #23 (though not all of you were thrilled with the result).
