Silver and Gold Edition Amiibo Could Be Coming Soon
Separate gold and silver variants of a Mario amiibo were reportedly spotted on Nintendo’s website today.
The two variants were revealed by CPSIA certificates which were spotted by user KTS2448 on NeoGAF. The figures are in the same pose as the Mario figure from the recently revealed Super Mario amiibo series, which launches March 20 alongside Mario Party 10. We’ve reached out to Nintendo for comment on this story, and we will update it once we hear back.
Heroes’ Milo Ventimiglia Joins Gotham
Milo Ventimiglia (Heroes, Mob City) has joined FOX's Gotham in a recurring guest star role for a major, multiple-episode arc.
Ventimiglia is playing Jason Lennon - aka "The Ogre."
First, let's note that while this Ogre shares a nickname with a character from DC Comics, it is a different character and not from the DC canon.
The description for Lennon is as follows: "Handsome, wealthy and seductive, the Ogre is a serial killer who has been preying on the young women of Gotham for nearly a decade, luring them into his web and confronting them with a series of “tests” as he searches for his perfect mate. When the women fail to live up to his impossible standard, Lennon disposes of them quickly and viciously."

Disney’s ‘Ambitious’ Star Wars Theme Park Plans
Speaking with Wall Street analysts, Disney boss Robert Iger updated investors about the entertainment company's plans for Star Wars attractions in their theme parks.
No specific details regarding types of attractions or when they would be built were given, but Iger did reassure that Disney is interested in increasing the current presence of Star Wars in their theme parks around the world.
He describes Disney's plans for these attractions as "ambitious," and explains that "it's going to take some time for them to be built and opened," Variety reports.

12 Monkeys’ Amanda Schull on the Threats Facing Cassie
After three episodes, the new Syfy series 12 Monkeys has quickly established that it’s going to some big places with its use of time travel, as Cole (Aaron Stanford) travels back and forth from 2043 to 2015 – and sometimes to other years altogether.
His ally, Cassandra “Cassie” Railly (Amanda Schull) has had to absorb a lot, as Cole has told her she’s important to his mission, she’s seen him vanish in front of her eyes, and she's encountered some very nasty threats along the way.
Last week’s 12 Monkeys filled in some of the time during the two years after Cole first appeared to her (and then vanished) and before he returned to her in 2015. I spoke to Schull about what her character makes of Cole at this point, the discussion they had about the fate of her onetime love, Henri, in the last episode, Cassie’s proactive nature and more.
New Pic of Zack Snyder on BvS Set
A new photo has surfaced with director Zack Snyder on the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice set. But where exactly is he?
Taken by Batman v Superman set photographer Clay Enos, the photo first appeared on Snyder's private Instagram account (via Batman-News), Cruel Films -- named after the 300 director's production company -- but was re-posted by Enos on his public account and on Twitter.

This Guy Built an 18,000 Piece LEGO Enterprise
Building enthusiast Chris Melby has built a replica model of the U.S.S. Enterprise completely out of LEGO bricks. Some 18,000 pieces, in fact.
The ship is 68 inches long, 29 inches wide, and stands about 32 inches on its base. The wooden base is 22 inches in diameter, and the saucer part of the ship measures in at 29 inches in diameter. It took Melby some eight months to build the thing (including the holidays)!
Melby notes that the model was built through a series of intertwining layers and a host of custom pieces to allow the ship to appear smooth, as opposed to jagged with hundreds of LEGO studs showing.

Zombies Almost Didn’t Make it in Call of Duty
Head of Treyarch Studios Mark Lamia explained how the now-popular zombie mode almost didn’t make it into Call of Duty at the Las Vegas DICE Summit, an annual gathering of game developers, publishers and other industry notables.
As Mark tells it, when Treyarch was given the opportunity to work on Call of Duty: World at War, it was hard to get the team excited about the project because it was the third World War II Call of Duty title they had worked on, so some of the team was experiencing creative burnout. Mark says it was important for the team to think outside of the box and get inspiration for where they could take the series, but that the addition of the now established zombie mode almost didn’t happen, mostly because of him.
