This Sonic 2 Statue Flies High

UK-based toy company First 4 Figures is adding another statue to their growing lineup of Sonic the Hedgehog collectibles, and it's a doozy. The Sonic "The Tornado" Diorama is inspired by one of the climactic levels from Sonic the Hedgehog 2, as Dr. Robotnik flees to the Death Egg and Sonic and Tails pursue him on their trusty rocket-powered biplane, The Tornado.

Link on Loftwing is First 4 Figures' Newest Legend of Zelda Figure

Both heroes are depicted in this massive diorama, which measures 17 inches tall, 14 inches wide, and 14 inches long. The plane itself is painted with a metallic finish and attached to a pivot joint, allowing collectors to display it at any angle they choose.

Blizzard Resurrects Lost Vikings For Heroes of the Storm

Blizzard has revealed the latest champion to join its MOBA Heroes of the Storm are the Lost Vikings from its 1992 platformer.

Erik, Baleog and Olaf will be playable as one hero, each with unique strengths and weaknesses. As a result then, they're classed as extremely complex to play and, from Blizzard's description, it's not hard to see why.

You can choose whether to move and attack with them individually or as a unit, with advantages to both. The downside, however, is they can be killed separately and have their own respawn timers, which is sure to be an annoyance as some of their more powerful abilities require them being used as a group.

EA Says Titanfall 2 Will Likely be on Multiple Platforms

EA has suggested Titanfall 2 will not be an Xbox-exclusive like its predecessor was.

As the mountain of evidence for a multiplatform sequel continues to rise, the publisher's CFO Blake Jorgensen said during Monday's Technology, Internet & Media Conference that Titanfall 2 would "probably" happen, and owners of other platforms would likely see it.

"Last year it was on the Xbox only; in the future, we haven't yet announced, but we'll probably have another Titanfall game," he said. "It will probably be a bigger footprint than just a single platform. I think that's a huge positive for us."

The original title was available on Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC when it launched back in March 2014, though rumours about where we'll see the sequel have been circulating for much longer. Multiple sources have claimed EA, which is publishing Titanfall 2, plans to see the next entry in Respawn's franchise come to PS4, PC and Xbox One.

Opinion: The Stars Belong to All of Us

Last week, IGN reported on ongoing discussions between federal regulatory agencies and private corporations regarding landing and territory rights on the surface of the moon. The revelation was fascinating but unsurprising, as many US companies already do lots of profitable business in outer space. Ever think about where your satellite TV comes from?

As I read the report, I remembered that great quote from Fight Club: "When deep space exploration ramps up, it'll be the corporations that name everything: the IBM Stellar Sphere, the Microsoft Galaxy, Planet Starbucks." A privatized moon is a future light-years removed from that envisioned by the 1967 UN Outer Space treaty, which begins: “Inspired by the great prospects opening up before mankind as a result of man's entry into outer space, recognizing the common interest of all mankind in the progress of the exploration and use of outer space for peaceful purposes, believing that the exploration and use of outer space should be carried on for the benefit of all peoples irrespective of the degree of their economic or scientific development...” A corporately-colonized solar system isn't compatible with that lofty vision.
