Blade Runner Sequel Finds a Director, Ford to Return

Denis Villeneuve (Prisoners, Incendies) is in negotiations to direct the Blade Runner sequel for Alcon Entertainment, while Harrison Ford is set to return as Rick Deckard.

The announcement was made today by Alcon co-founders Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson.

“We are honored that Harrison is joining us on this journey with Denis Villeneuve, who is a singular talent, as we experienced personally on Prisoners" said the pair in a statement.

Power Rangers Fan Movie Producer Responds to YouTube Pull

The Adi Shankar-produced, Joseph Kahn-directed, darkly reimagined Mighty Morphin Power Rangers fan film has been pulled from both YouTube and Vimeo.

After garnering a tremendous amount of attention upon it's release, the hard-R version of the Rangers starring James Van der Beek and Katie Sackhoff was heavily criticized by Power Rangers creator Haim Saban and original Green Ranger Jason David Frank. Ultimately, SCG Power Rangers LLC, the company that owns the rights to the property demanded that the video be pulled.

Arrow/Flash DC Character Team Spinoff in the Works

The Arrow and The Flash universe keeps on growing, with word dropping this evening that a “potential” spin-off of The CW hits is in the works and will feature several recurring characters from the DC/CW world, including Ray Palmer/The Atom (Brandon Routh), Dr. Martin Stein (Victor Garber), Leonard Snart/Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and former Black Canary Caity Lotz.

According to Deadline, Arrow creators Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Marc Guggenheim are working with The CW on the project for next season.

While the series currently has no title, it is in development and being described as “a superhero team-up show.” Since the series is in the early stages right now, Deadline cautions that other Arrow and Flash characters could also show up in the spin-off. In addition, the new program will include three “major” DC Comics characters who have never appeared in a TV series before.

Capcom Issues Apology for Resident Evil Revelations 2 Steam Blunder

Capcom has apologised for the mix-up regarding the lack of offline co-op in the PC version of Resident Evil Revelations 2, explaining the issue as a gaffe on its part.

“We apologise to our Resident Evil Revelations 2 PC players who purchased the game and expected to have local co-op as a feature,” said the publisher via a statement on Steam. “The feature wasn’t intended for this version and that caveat was mistakenly omitted from the product description on the Steam page earlier, and then included as soon as we were made aware. This was an unintentional error and again, we apologise for the confusion this may have caused.”

Under the Dome and Extant Return Dates Announced

CBS has announced their summer schedule plans, which include spreading new episodes of three scripted dramas and the return of Big Brother across the week.

Under the Dome is moving to Thursday, and it will return June 25 with a two hour premier at 9:00 PM (ET/PT), after which it'll move to its regular time period on Thursday at 10:00 PM (ET/PT). For the third season, the drama has added CSI alum Marg Helgenberger, who will feature into an extended story arc as the town's inhabitants figure out the Dome's purpose.

Extant will premiere its second season Wednesday July 1 at 10:00 PM (ET/PT), maintaining its time slot from last year. Repeats of Criminal Minds will serve as the lead in for the sophomore show.

Marvel's Daredevil is almost here, and to celebrate, here's your best look at the vigilante - and his supporting cast- yet.

First off, Netflix has released a second motion poster which shows off Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock in all his smirky glory - check it out below.

Empire has more in its latest issue, with stills featuring Elden Henson's Foggy Nelson, Deborah Ann Woll's Karen Page,  Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, and the back of Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin.

Netflix's Daredevil will premiere on Netflix April 10.

Mortal Kombat Co-Creator Teases MKX Character Reveal Tomorrow

A new Mortal Kombat X fighter reveal was teased for tomorrow, Feb 27, and thanks to the game's creative director, we have an idea about who it could be.

At the end of Netherrealm's recent livestream (in which they revealed brutalities are coming back), we were told a character reveal is coming "very soon."
