Yes, Daredevil Will Have His Red Suit This Season

So far we've only seen Matt Murdock wearing a black costume in Marvel's Daredevil, but the powers-that-be behind the upcoming Netflix series say his traditional red outfit will appear on the show.

"We had to come up with a logic for it," Marvel CCO Joe Quesada explained to Comics Continuum. "It was a delicate balance, because the stories we're telling are so real-world. Matt starts out in a homemade outfit that develops slowly. As he starts getting the crap kicked out of him on the streets, he adds padding little by little."

The emphasis was on making sure it looked like Matt had scraped together a uniform rather than a costume, and from what he could readily buy. "We wanted something that looked militaristic and functional, but also dramatic and sexy. It was really tricky to make it both be practical and look," said costume designer Stephanie Maslansky.

Here’s How Fast Nvidia’s $1K Titan X Video Card Really Is

Today Nvidia has yanked the wraps off its all-new flagship GPU, the GeForce GTX Titan X. With 12GB of RAM and 3,072 cuda cores, it’s the company’s "we’re not messing around" GPU, and represents the absolute maximum amount of performance available from a single Nvidia GPU at this moment in time...at least as far as gamers are concerned. Unlike previous Titan GPUs, the Titan X isn’t designed to excel at compute tasks or bitcoin mining—when it comes to double-precision compute ability, it runs at the same speed as a GTX 980. In other words, this is a card designed for just gamers. Gamers with super fat wallets, that is.

Who Is Nintendo’s New Partner, DeNA?

Mobile game company DeNA will work alongside Nintendo to bring the Japanese game giant's beloved IPs to smartphones, announced today in a press conference.

Gamers more familiar with Nintendo's properties and less so with the mobile gaming market may find themselves uncertain about what to think of this partnership. Who is DeNA, anyway?

DeNA (pronounced "D-N-A") was once a small Tokyo startup, formed in 1999 to launch an online auction service, but it has since shifted its focus onto mobile games.

With offices and development studios from Japan to the United States to South America and a portfolio that contains education, healthcare, and sports, DeNA is a global company with a fairly wide reach beyond games.

Australian Couple Celebrates Wedding With Incredible NES Cake

An Australian couple recently celebrated their wedding day with an incredibly realistic, life-size NES cake.

The cake came complete with the console, two controllers, and a copy of Tetris.

According to the bride, the cake was so realistic, guests were having a hard time believing it wasn't an actual console.

"Everyone was poking and prodding at it wondering if it was real. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day,” she said.
