Car Mechanic Simulator 2015 Release Date Announced

Red Dot Studios has revealed that Car Mechanic Simulator 2015 is coming out next month, "probably" on April 14.

CMS 2015 puts you in the role of a mechanic, repairing cars for demanding clients as you slowly expand your repair service empire. You can also buy junk cars to renovate and sell at a profit, or become a car collector.

Missions are randomly generated, and a visual tuning feature - new to the 2015 edition - allows you to replace and fine-tune car parts. There are 16 base car models, and "additional DLCs currently in development" will no doubt add more to the line-up.

CMS 2015 was successfully Kickstarted last month, earning over $18,000 USD.

Valve’s Vive VR Will Be Pricey, HTC Says

While an exact price hasn't been announced yet for Valve and HTC's upcoming VR headset, one HTC executive warns: Vive VR won't be cheap.

In an interview with MCV, HTC's executive director of marketing Jeff Gattis mentions the Vive VR's "slightly higher price point," which he refers to as a trade-off for the "premium VR experience" both companies aim to deliver with the headset.

IGN's demo of Vive VR was extremely positive, which seems in line with most people's hands-on experiences with the headset.

Nick Frost Back for The Huntsman, 3 More Dwarfs Cast

Three new actors will join Nick Frost as dwarfs in the cast of the Snow White and the Huntsman prequel, The Huntsman.

Despite earlier claims that Frost would sit the prequel out along with Toby Jones and Eddie Marsan, THR reports that Frost will reprise his role as the dwarf Nion. British actors Rob Brydon, Alexandra Roach (The Iron Lady), and Sheridan Smith will join him as dwarves.

Mr. T Doing DIY Show Called I Pity the Tool

Mr. T (A-Team, Rocky III) is set to host I Pity the Tool, a home renovation series for DIY Network.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show has landed a straight-to-series order, and will have Mr. T tearing down and remodeling outdated homes. While Mr. T himself will likely be tasked with the destruction, the remodeling will be led by interior designer and HGTV Design Star winner Tiffany Brooks.

Strike Vector, the fast-paced aerial combat game from Ragequit Corporation, is headed to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One "soon."

Debuting first on PC, Strike Vector is a futuristic dogfighting game featuring shape-shifting jets and complex weapon combinations.

IGN's review of Strike Vector was mostly positive, praising its visuals and plethora of options, but accusing it of having unclear controls and little guidance.

We reached out to Ragequit about whether or not the console version, Strike Vector EX, will differ at all from Strike Vector on PC, and the team isn't saying anything yet.

Report: Kojima Leaving Konami After Metal Gear Solid 5 Is Finished

According to an inside source, Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima is leaving Konami after the completion of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

Speaking with GameSpot, an anonymous source said "power struggles" between Kojima Productions and Konami have led to employment changes for Kojima himself, as well as other senior staff. They reportedly now work as contractors instead of full-time employees.

"After we finish MGSV, Mr. Kojima and upper management will leave Konami," the source said. "They said their contract ends in December."

Key developers, including Hideo Kojima, are also reportedly being given limited access to corporate internet, emails, and phone calls.
