Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam Bros. Release Date Announced

Nintendo has announced Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam Bros. will be available on 3DS in Europe from December 4.

First announced at E3, the game was slated for release in Spring 2016. Nintendo of Europe couldn't tell us whether the North American date had been moved forward too - we've reached out to Nintendo of America for more information.

The new game combines the Mario and Luigi series with the graphical style and gameplay of Paper Mario, with switching between the three-dimensional and papery versions of our heroes being key to success.

Fallout 4 Has Custom Controls for PS Vita Remote Play

Bethesda has revealed anyone who opts to play the upcoming Fallout 4 on PlayStation Vita thanks to Remote Play will be doing so with specially-designed controls.

The publisher revealed on Twitter that designer Josh Hamrick, who has previously helped out with Remote Play for Destiny, is working with the company to make sure the fact the Vita has fewer buttons than the DualShock 4 won't impact players.

In case you missed it earlier this week, we discovered how much free space Fallout 4 will need on your hard drive. The game's share of your hard drive will increase over time, as Bethesda has said regular updates will be part of Fallout 4, updates that add new features in a similar vein to Skyrim.

Astronomers Say ‘Bizarre’ Star May Harbor Alien ‘Megastructures’

After more than four years of observations with the Kepler Space Telescope, astronomers reveal that a bizarre star called KIC 8462852 has unexplained objects orbiting around it.

The star, located 1480 light-years from Earth, was flagged in 20111 by citizen scientists recruited by the Kepler’s Planet Hunters program. The “interesting” and “bizarre” star was emitting light patterns stranger than any of the other 150,000 stars Kepler was watching.

“We’d never seen anything like this star,” Tabetha Boyajian, a postdoc at Yale and overseer of Planet Hunters, told The Atlantic. “It was really weird. We thought it might be bad data or movement on the spacecraft, but everything checked out.”

Tarantino Clarifies His Perceived Selma Diss

Quentin Tarantino caused quite a stir earlier this week with his controversial remarks regarding Ava DuVernay's Oscar-nominated film Selma. The director has since responded to the backlash, noting that he's never seen the movie.

New Chipmunks Movie to Open Against Star Wars

In what will surely be a David and Goliath story for the ages, Fox is dropping its fourth Chipmunks installment into theatres the same day as Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

THR reports that Fox has moved up the film's release from December 23 to December 18 to take advantage of school holidays, the same day as The Most Anticipated Movie Of All Time* drops.

If this sounds crazy, it's not. With its PG rating Alvin and the Chipmunks skews younger than The Force Awakens (rated PG13) and if past installments are anything to go by, it will probably make a bunch of money during the busy holiday period.

Sources have told Heroic Hollywood that Coogler is being considered by the studio, as he currently finishes up post-production work on his sports drama Creed ahead of its November 25 release.

Marvel was originally set to have Ava DuVernay direct Black Panther; however, the Selma director decided to pass over creative differences. Additionally, Straight Outta Compton director F. Gary Gray was rumored to be in running, but that no longer appears to be a possibility, as he just signed on to direct Fast and Furious 8.
