Ant-Man 2 Seeks to Bring Back Director Reed
Marvel Studios reportedly wants Ant-Man director Peyton Reed back to helm the recently announced sequel, Ant-Man and the Wasp.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the studio is in negotiations with Reed to return to direct the sequel, which is slated for a summer 2018 release. No screenwriters have been hired yet.
Reed took over directing the original Ant-Man amid a cloud of controversy after Edgar Wright quit the project close to production. Reed's Ant-Man ended up both a critical and commercial success, becoming the ninth highest-grossing domestic release of 2015 with $178.8 million.
Wasteland 2 Developer Expands With New Studio
InXile Entertainment is preparing to open a second location.
The developer of notable games such as Wasteland 2, Bard's Tale IV, and Torment: Tides of Numenara, InXile announced today they will be opening a brand new studio in New Orleans, Louisiana with plans to hire at least 50 people over the next five years.
This is the company's first expansion outside of its normal headquarters in Newport Beach, California, and marks a significant milestone in their growth and success. Studio leads hope their move to Louisiana will help encourage more growth in the city's tech field and potentially offer employment to recent area college graduates.
New Sherlock Holmes Game Announced for 2016
Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in spring 2016, Bigben Interactive and developer Frogwares have announced.
The Devil's Daughter will feature five unique cases for the famed detective to solve. Holmes will also be confronted with "family stories, irresistible emotions, and an occult revenge," according to Bigben.

The Devil's Daughter will be the eighth Sherlock Holmes game released since 2002 -- the latest being 2014's Crimes and Punishments, which was also developed by Frogwares.

Domino’s Reveals Its Purpose-Built Pizza Delivery Vehicle
Domino's has unveiled the DXP - its first vehicle designed specifically for delivering pizza.
The DXP, which is essentially a heavily modified version of the 2015 Chevrolet Spark, has all the features needed to get your dinner to your front door at the right temperature. The standard insulated carry-bag typically used to keep pizzas warm has been replaced by an entire oven that keeps pizzas heated at 140°F. (The oven door is connected to the driver's key fob to prevent any would-be pizza thieves from sneaking a piping-hot slice while the driver completes a delivery.)
Real-Life Pokemon Gym Coming to Japan
Pokémon EXPO Gym, a fun-filled learning center geared towards kids, is coming to Japan, Sanoyas Interaction has announced.
According to Inside Games (via Siliconera), this real-life gym will open its doors in Osaka on November 19, and will offer fans of the popular creature-collecting franchise Pokémon-related tips tricks. Various training programs will be available, where participants can earn an array of rewards, including special Pokémon for use in the mainline 3DS games.
Space Roguelike Everspace Coming to Xbox One
Non-linear space shooter Everspace will be coming to Xbox One in 2016. The crowd-funded game was already slated for release on PC.
The game will join the Xbox One line-up as part of Microsoft's ID@Xbox program. ID@Xbox is the company's self-publishing platform, intended for independent developers who want to bring their games to Xbox One and PC.
Rockfish Games’ CEO Michael Schade told Xbox Wire his company is "trying to set Everspace apart" from other space shooters that focus on tremendous scope or realism. The company hopes to do this using what it calls a "very distinct art style" that shows a vibrant and colorful outer-space setting.
Android: Netrunner to be Adapted into a Mobile Action RPG
Android: Netrunner is getting an adaptation for mobile, but it's not in the same style as the popular tabletop game.
Instead, the team at Legacy Games is creating a top-down, free-to-play action RPG set in the Netrunner universe, where players take a much more involved amount of control over their character's actions.
In the tabletop card game, players act as "runners," people who infiltrate and steal information from major corporations. Rather than relying on cards to convey hacking and the procuring of info, an action RPG format will make things feel much more direct.
Batman & Robin Director Helming Play About Video Game Addiction
Batman and Robin director Joel Schumacher is set to helm Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom, an off-Broadway play focusing on a small community's video game addiction.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the play centers around "a quiet cul-de-sac community gripped by rapidly spreading addiction to an online zombie-killing game that blurs the boundaries between the real and virtual worlds, reflecting a growing divide between distracted parents and alienated teens in suburban America."
Written by Jennifer Haley, Neighborhood 3 is set to run from November 16 through December 20 at the Flea Theater in the New York City neighborhood of Tribeca.
Daredevil’s Kingpin to Play Wizard of Oz in Emerald City
Vincent D'Onofrio will play the Wizard of Oz in NBC's upcoming television series Emerald City.
According to Variety, D'Onofrio, who also stars as Kingpin in Marvel's Daredevil, has been cast as the "enigmatic leader" of Emerald City. He'll be joined by True Detective's Adria Arjona, who's set to play Dorothy.
