Fan Creates The Legend of Zelda Maker

Sure, Super Mario Maker is great. But what if you could design your own puzzle-laden dungeons?

That's the thought of Justin Sink, a Nintendo fan who recently created The Legend of Zelda Maker, a game in which players can craft and share their own Legend of Zelda levels, temples, and dungeons for others to play.

It's currently in alpha and available to download via Mediafire. He invites players to give constructive criticism and create let's plays to share their thoughts. Check it out in the video below.

Jem and the Holograms is a Superhero Origin Story, Says Director

Making Jem and the Holograms into a live action movie has been a passion project a decade in the making for director Jon M. Chu. The man behind G.I. Joe: Retaliation and Justin Bieber: Never Say Never has been a fan of the '80s cartoon since his childhood, and had long been dreaming of tackling the challenge of bringing it to life.

During a candid phone interview, I spoke with Chu about transforming the cartoon into a modern coming of age story, especially since fans of the original -- including Chu himself -- are so protective of the original. He opened up about why he views this film as a superhero origin story and why he saved The Misfits vs. Jem and the Holograms for a potential sequel, plus how he's already laid the groundwork for a G.I. Joe/Jem and the Holograms crossover.

Watch 20 Minutes of New Dark Souls 3 Gameplay

Recently I played  2 hours in the Dark Souls 3 stress test. Below is some footage from that time.

What was on offer was very similar to what we played at Tokyo Game Show back in September, but with basic online functionality – summoning, invading, and messages – included for the first time. It's worth noting, before you check out the videos, that this is based on early code (the game isn't out in the West until April next year) so you might spot the occasional bug.

I played as the two magic-orientated characters – the Herald of White (who wields miracles) and the Academy Assassin (who wields sorcery) – and had varying degrees of success... well, I'm more a DEX kind of guy.

Why SPECTRE isn’t as Good as Skyfall

Welcome to another episode of the IGN UK Podcast. Lots of British stuff to talk about today. First up, we've seen the new Bond movie, SPECTRE, and while it's good it's nowhere near as good as it's predecessor, Skyfall.

We've also been playing lots of Assassin's Creed Syndicate and exploring London town, and think it's the best in the series for quite some time. Find out why. Alex also shares what items he'd need if the apocalypse strikes.

So what are you waiting for? Listen to our audio offering below, or watch the chaos unfold in the video above!
