Mutant Mudds Collection for Switch Announced
Developer Atooi has announced the Mutant Mudds Collection for the Nintendo Switch, a three-game compilation that brings the beloved platformers, plus a new game in the series, to Nintendo's latest console.
IGN can exclusively reveal that the collection, which is set for a Q4 2017 release, will include Mutant Mudds Deluxe, Mutant Mudds Super Challenge, and the brand-new puzzler Mudd Blocks. Check out the debut trailer below:
Mudd Blocks is the Collection's newest addition, as the series' protagonist Max has to take on the mutant mudd threat in block form. Throw water bombs at the mutants to get rid of them, or use multicolored mudds against themselves. Mudd Blocks offers single player, two player co-op, and two player competitive options, as well as unique modes like Numbers and Rescue.
PUBG Dev Apologizes for Server Problems
In order to combat recent connection, login, and server crash issues caused by rapid growth of the player base, the PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds development team will be preparing servers "far more in advance," according to a recent blog post on the developer's website.
"We anticipated about 1 million concurrent users in the beginning of our Early Access period," the post says. "Since the end of June, our concurrent player base saw a rapid increase so we started designing a new server architecture. However, the number of users increased faster than our development speed which resulted in more connection and server issues recently."

Maleficent 2 Enlists Dead Men Tell No Tales Director
The director of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Joachim Ronning, is set to direct Maleficent 2.
Ronning's work with Pirates of the Caribbean saw the film gross $794.6 globally and while not fantastic, was one of the better sequels in the franchise.
Ronning will still be working on the adaption of Michael Crichton's novel Micro as well as developing the Origins pitch.
Maleficent 2 was announced early last year alongside eight other new Disney films. It will see Angelina Jolie return as the excellent highlight of an otherwise okay film, but it is unknown where the film will pick up after the original.
Injustice 2 Adding the Atom as New DLC Fighter
The Atom is coming to Injustice 2.
The new character was revealed tonight during the finale of Chasing the Cup: Injustice 2 on The CW.
The version of the Atom that will be featured in Injustice 2 is Ryan Choi, the physics genius who took up the mantle after his mentor Ray Palmer disappeared. The DC hero has quantum shrinking capabilities, granting him the ability to use subatomic power in his fight for justice. There's no word yet on when the Atom will join the fight, as the reveal trailer only says he's "coming soon."
The Atom follows the trio of DLC fighters that make up Injustice 2's second character pack, which include Black Manta, Hellboy and Raiden. Check out these 10 different Raiden intros to see how Moral Kombat's Thunder God interacts with the other members of the Injustice 2 roster.
