Destiny 2’s First Prestige Raid Now Live

Destiny 2's Leviathan Prestige Raid is now live on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

"The Prestige Raid is now live. Good luck! We will be watching," Bungie said in a post on Twitter.

Announced earlier this month, the more difficult version of Destiny 2's first Raid introduces tougher enemies, as well as "minimal" mechanical changes to encounters. As Bungie previously noted on its website, due to the Raid's heightened difficulty, it doesn't "expect everyone to be successful."

Green Lantern: Earth One Channels Alien’s Gritty, Unexplored Universe

Green Lantern: Earth One reinvents Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern in a modern world where there’s no such thing as Batman, Wonder Woman, or Superman and alien life hasn’t been discovered yet. Jordan seeks the thrill of adventuring through space but is stuck in a dull job mining asteroids for a private contractor, Ferris Galactic. That is, until he finds a powerful green relic from the long-extinct Green Lantern Corps and he’s confronted by the very villains that destroyed them, the Manhunters.

DC Comics’ Earth One graphic novels re-imagine individual heroes (or teams like Teen Titans) to tell standalone stories unconnected to the greater DC Universe or even other Earth One stories. That was the appeal for co-writers Gabriel Hardman and Corinna Bechko (Star Wars: Legacy, Invisible Republic) , who saw this as an opportunity to cut to the core of Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern mythos. Talking to us at New York Comic Con, the pair spoke about how they’re taking a gritty sci-fi approach akin to Alien.

Wolfenstein 2’s Marketing Leans Into Real-World Events

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus' marketing is intentionally tying into real-world events, Bethesda confirmed in a new interview. But developer MachineGames decided on the game's story long ago and did not intend the game to offer any specific social commentary on recent events.

Bethesda's Pete Hines spoke with Rolling Stone's Glixel about Wolfenstein II's recent marketing, which includes use of phrases like "There is only one side" and a take on the Nazi-punching meme that gained particular prominence earlier this year.

Dragon Ball FighterZ Adds Nappa and Captain Ginyu to Roster

The upcoming Dragon Ball FighterZ has added villains Nappa and Captain Ginyu to the ever-expanding roster.

In an update in V-Jump (via Siliconera), the roster update was accompanied by information on the game's story mode.

The saiyan Nappa will be able to summon Saibamen to aid him in battle, and his Meteor special attack is called "Kapa!" The special attack has Nappa firing a devastating energy beam from his mouth.

Captain Ginyu will have the ability to call out all of the members of The Ginyu Force. His special Meteor attack will be, as series fans may expect, "Body Change." This ability will allow Ginyu to swap characters and health with their opponent.

Netflix Unveils Its Most ‘Binge Raced’ Shows

Streaming services like Netflix have changed the way we consume programming, turning many of us into binge watchers. However, Netflix recently unveiled some information on people it calls "binge racers," which are individuals who binge an entire season of a show within 24 hours of its release.

Netflix revealed a ranking of the 20 most-binge-raced original programs it provides, but they may not be the shows you expected them to be.

The top show in the rankings is Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. Considering how many devoted fans Gilmore Girls has, and how long those fans had to wait for new episodes, this makes sense. In second place is Fuller House, which also ticks the nostalgia boxes. Third is Marvel's The Defenders, followed by the surprising The Seven Deadly Sins and The Ranch to round out the top five.

I Flew 1,750 Miles to Catch a Pokemon

This week, I traveled 1,750 miles to catch a Pokemon in Pokemon Go.

With a near-complete Pokedex, on Monday I flew to Austin, Texas to catch one of few I still needed: Corsola, a region-exclusive Pokemon who spawns in the tropics, including areas in Latin America, Africa, Australia, Asia, and, thankfully, the southernmost parts of the United States.

It sounds extreme, but as someone who has poured thousands of combined hours into open world games on consoles, there’s something thrilling about being a completionist in a game where the map is the real world. More importantly, completing the Pokedex is one of few tasks left right now in a game with a huge player base that’s growing restless waiting for new content.

Live-Actions DC Series Titans Casts Beast Boy

The voice of Hiro Hamada is becoming a different hero, as Ryan Potter has been announced to play Beast Boy in DC's live-action Titans series.

WB has revealed that the Big Hero 6 actor will play Garfield "Gar" Logan in the series, which is set to debut in 2018 on DC's upcoming digital streaming service. Gar contracted the lethal Sakutia disease while in Africa with his geneticist parents.

He survived thanks to an experimental drug, but the effects included his skin and hair turning green, while gaining the ability to turn into any animal he can think of.

Wrestling Wrap Up: Kane is Back to Avenge The Undertaker

Someone call up Knox County, Tennessee (1-800-555-KNOX?), or Mike Knox, or someone (Brodus Clay's mother?) and let them know we've got their prim and proper Mayoral candidate. He's off his leash and running around the neighbors' yards. Most notably, the yard of "Big Dog" Roman Reigns, who hates it when people step foot in his yard and yard around with their yard-ness.

Now, here's the deal. I enjoy Kane. I don't always enjoy Kane, but he's an icon and one of the most underrated performers in the company. Underrated though because, basically, we've just seen too damn much of him. The same can be said of Ziggler and others who've just been on out TV consistently for too long. It's the downside of having too many hours of wrestling to fill. No one every goes away until we've long-since wanted them to go away.
