All the Modern Star Wars Movies’ CinemaScores
A "CinemaScore" is the letter grade domestic filmgoers assign to a movie in audience exit polling opening night. It's been a barometer by which Hollywood has gauged how their movies will perform at the box office for many years now, but it has become, in the digital age, an even more talked about facet in how studios and the media respond to a movie's performance.
Although CinemaScore has existed since 1978, they don't have scores recorded for the original Star Wars trilogy (Episodes IV-VI); they only have CinemaScores recorded from the prequels through to The Last Jedi.
X-Men: First Class Director Talking to DC Films About ‘a Few Things’
X-Men: First Class, Kingsman and Kick-Ass director Matthew Vaughn has been talking to DC Films about "a few things" - we assume those "things" are movies.
Speaking to the IGN UK Podcast, Vaughn said: "I do love the world of DC, and I've been talking to them at the moment about a few things."
Later in the interview, he perhaps reveals why he'd be more interested in working with DC than Marvel right now:
"It's more fun getting involved with franchises when they're on the down, because then it's easier to make a good film. So if I got involved with a few of the superhero films out there that have been disappointing, it's going to be... if I do OK, it'll probably be better.

Robert Kirkman Reveals Next Major Comic Book
While writer Robert Kirkman is mere months away from wrapping up one of his most popular ongoing comics, Invincible, Kirkman fans have plenty more to look forward to in 2018. We're pleased to be able to exclusively reveal Kirkman's latest creator-owned project, Oblivion Song.
Oblivion Song is a joint effort from Kirkman and artist/co-creator Lorenzo De Felici. The series will also feature colorist Annalisa Leoni and letterer Rus Wooton. Oblivion Song is a science fiction comic set in an alternate world where the city of Philadelphia has been swallowed up in a dimensional vortex. The series revolves around a hero named Nathan Cole as he makes daily trips into the realm known as Oblivion to search for survivors. However, Nathan may have other, more selfish goals in mind as well.
Xbox’s Crimson Skies Deserved a Sequel, Says EP
Mitch Gitelman, who served as an executive producer on Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge at FASA Studio, believes the Xbox title should have received a sequel.
"High Road to Revenge deserved a sequel. That team deserved a sequel," Gitelman said on the latest episode of our monthly interview show IGN Unfiltered.
However, Microsoft wanted to have each development team work on a single game, and since FASA Studio was juggling multiple franchises at once, the Crimson Skies series did not continue. "At the time, Microsoft decided, and Shane Kim specifically decided, that each studio would focus on just one game—and we were doing Shadowrun and Crimson Skies simultaneously, and still working on MechAssault and stuff—and just collapsed it all down," Gitelman said.

Explaining The Last Jedi’s Epic Lightsaber Battle
Warning: this article contains SPOILERS for Star Wars: The Last Jedi!
It wouldn't be a Star Wars movie without at least one major lightsaber battle. Even Rogue One found time for Darth Vader to do his thing before the final credits rolled. And while The Last Jedi featured several memorable lightsaber scenes, none stood out quite as much as Rey and Kylo Ren's epic showdown with Supreme Leader Snoke's Praetorian Guard. That battle showed us that Snoke's elite bodyguards are plenty of capable of holding their own against Jedi Knights. At least for a while.
It might seem crazy that ordinary soldiers (no matter how well trained) could go toe-to-toe with powerful Force users wielding indestructible lightsabers. But in truth, the Praetorian Guards are just the latest example of ordinary warriors doing battle with Force users.
Cuphead iOS Release Is a Scam
Update: Studio MDHR has announced that the app is a fake, and is currently working to have it removed from the App Store.
Original story follows...
Out of nowhere, Cuphead seemed to become an iOS game today - except it's almost certainly a scam.
The surprise appearance of an App Store listing for the game - at the very reasonable price of £4.99 / $4.99 - set Twitter abuzz that Studio MDHR had offered up a Christmas treat. Sadly, it was too good/weird to be true.
IGN has confirmed that the support website listed on the App Store is a cloned version of the official Cuphead page, created in October of this year (i.e. after the game's initial release) and hosted on a small Hungarian web hosting service. Elements of how the page displays - such as the YouTube dropdown menu's default language - appear to indicate the scam originates from Hungary, too.
