Why Altered Carbon is Worth Sticking With
Here's the deal. You may not want anything to do with Altered Carbon. Maybe you don't like tons of nudity and violence. Maybe dystopian sci-fi isn't your bag. Maybe you read the book and didn't like it. Maybe you read the book and loved it and know that nothing can match it. Obviously then, this recommendation isn't for you.
With hundreds of scripted series - most of which seem to arrive on Netflix, seemingly out of nowhere - competing for your precious time and attention, it's often hard to choose which ones to watch. Being picky is understandable. The name of the game now seems to be "If it doesn't grab me right away, or by the first two episodes, I'm out." Again, that's logical.
The Best Horror and Zombie Board Games
Halloween may be long past, but our love for zombie and horror board gaming is evergreen. There's something about zombies, ghosts, werewolves, and other nightmares that are a great fit for huddling around a table with your friends. The horror genre is filled to the brim with great games, and we've assembled some of the best. This list is pulled together from my own tabletop experience and advice from the always-helpful community at BoardGameGeek.
Each game represents different mechanics, but since jump scares are nearly impossible in a board game, atmosphere is king in the horror genre. So gather your friends, dim the lights, and get ready to experience terror like only a board game can deliver. These are the best horror-themed board games.

CD Projekt Announce a New Gwent Draft-Based Mode Called Gwent Arena
CD Projekt Red has announced a new draft-based mode for The Witcher card game called Gwent Arena.
The developer shared the news on its livestream yesterday, PC Gamer reports.
Gwent Arena let players build decks from random cards to use in a series of games against Gaunter O'Dimm, the Man of Glass.
To participate in the Arena, players will need to cough up 150 ore or $1.99 for a single run, which will end after the completion of nine successful contracts, or three player deaths.
