Fans of the Nine-Nine may not need to give up just yet, as cult favorite cop sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine may live on via a streaming service.
According to Variety, discussions are currently being held to continue the ensemble cop comedy at Hulu now that Fox has announced the show's cancellation.
Upon hearing news the current season finale would double as the show's series finale, many fans, including Mark Hamill and Lin-Manuel Miranda, began showing support on social media with posts calling for Fox to #RenewBrooklyn99.
Opinion: Marvel Finally Justified Bringing Back the Original Venom
Most things in superhero comics come full circle sooner or later, and so it was when Marvel restored Eddie Brock as the human host of the Venom symbiote in 2017. This was one of many ways Marvel overhauled its comic book line to appeal more directly to readers nostalgic for the "good old days" of the '80s and '90s. But nostalgia aside, bringing back Eddie Brock never felt like the best or most inspired direction for the Venom franchise. Some cynics might even argue Marvel only made that change to prepare for the upcoming Venom movie. It's only now, as a new creative teams kicks off a relaunched series and new status quo for Venom, that Eddie Brock's return is actually beginning to pay off.

Battle Royale fans rejoice and get to the Battle Bus, because Fortnite's limited time 50v50 V2 mode has returned!
The Fortnite team made the announcement on Twitter, revealing the game mode is available now.

Unlike Fortnite's standard Battle Royale mode, in which players engage in a 100 player free-for-all to see who can be the last one standing, 50v50 sees the 100 player roster split into two massive teams to vie for dominance through guerrilla warfare and large-scale skirmishes across the map.
Star Wars Ep 9: This Is Reportedly Why Colin Trevorrow Was Fired
Information regarding why director Colin Trevorrow was fired from Star Wars: Episode IX and replaced by J.J. Abrams has reportedly come to light.
According to The Wall Street Journal, an anonymous source with knowledge of Trevorrow's work on Episode IX said the filmmaker was fired from the project because Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy wasn't satisfied with his script. She reportedly wasn't happy with the drafts co-written by Trevorrow or the one written by Jack Thorne—the playwright behind Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
DC Reveals New Legion of Doom Team Roster
The Justice League will be facing off against a new version of the Legion of Doom. The DC villain team will be led by Lex Luthor and include the Joker, Cheetah, Black Manta, Sinestro, and Gorilla Grodd.

Luthor has been part of the Justice League since 2015 and is currently fighting alongside the heroes in the Justice League: No Justice mini-series, but writer Scott Snyder told CBR that Luthor will soon change his allegiance.
Rainbow Six Siege’s New Map Includes Assassin’s Creed Nod
Rainbow Six Siege's upcoming new multiplayer map features an Assassin's Creed Easter egg.
Ubisoft revealed the map, called Villa, in a recent blog post, which briefly shows off a water fountain with what is clearly the Assassin's Creed logo, as seen in the screenshot from a new trailer below.

14 DC Characters Who Need to Join the Arrowverse
The Arrowverse has grown by leaps and bounds since the early days when Oliver Queen was the only superhero on the block. Lately, it seems like there are few corners of the DC Universe that Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow can't draw from. But even as big as the Arrowverse has grown, there are still a lot of major characters who have yet to appear.

In other Arrowverse news, Paul Blackthorne is leaving Arrow after Season 6, while the series is adding Colton Haynes' Roy Harper/Arsenal as a series regular in Season 7. Stephen Amell recently spoke about Black Lightning potentially crossing over with Arrow, suggesting that this massive superhero universe is about to get even bigger.
Netflix Renews The Joel McHale Show
Netflix has renewed The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale for several more episodes.
Variety reports the half-hour topical series will return on July 15 with six new episodes. They will all be released on the same day, breaking away from the show's initial weekly format.
The show features celebrity guests, comedy sketches, and "insane video clips from the worldwide realms of TV, sports, politics, celebrity culture, and every corner of the internet."
The 13-episode first season premiered on February 18 and features such guests as Kevin Hart, Kristen Bell, Drew Barrymore, Timothy Olyphant, Alison Brie, and Seth Rogen, among quite a few others.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider’s Dev Budget Is Reportedly $75M to $100M
Eidos Montreal boss David Anfossi has revealed that Shadow of the Tomb Raider is costing between $75 million and $100 million to develop, with an extra $35 million thrown on top for marketing.
"Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and other different AAA single-player games, cost $75 million to $100 million. And that's production only; it's close to $35 million on the promotion," Anfossi said in an interview with GamesIndustry.biz on the subject of single-player games and industry trends.
"So there's definitely a pressure. We cannot avoid it. But, at the same time, for us to have these incubation projects and to try small things... that gives us the opportunity to test, prepare and secure some stuff, and remove some risk."
