First Act of Fortnite’s Save the World Campaign Arriving ‘Shortly After v5.0′
Fortnite’s Save the World State of Development – June 2018 blog has announced that the first act of the Canny Valley campaign, and a new desert biome, are arriving shortly after the launch of v5.0 in July.
Canny Valley will take players through a desert terrain and will “answer many questions – was Dr. Vinderman a hero or a villain? What happened to him? Who is “the real Ray”, and where is she? What really is the Storm, and why did it happen? You’ll also see Lars and his band, “Steel Wool”, Dennis, Penny and all the other characters you love, along with iconic locations and enemies.”

Almost three years since it first made a splash as a Kickstarter project, We Happy Few finally has a release date: August 10, 2018.
The game takes place in a "tranquil" alternate reality 1960s England, where the townsfolk of Wellington Wells have gone off their meds, literally. A government-mandated medication known in-game as "Joy" keeps everyone in an artificial state of subdued happiness. The game picks up when people begin to rebel against the forced medication, suffering violent and bizarre withdrawal symptoms.
Atari’s New Console Under Fire Again As Crowdfunding Campaign Nears End
Atari’s upcoming VCS system has recently garnered more negative attention as its crowdfunding campaign nears its end.
Responding to concerns raised by an article from The Register written in March during GDC, Atari recently referred to the author as an “irresponsible troll” on its Facebook page. The Register article panned Atari for its inability, or lack of willingness, to answer seemingly basic questions about the VCS during an interview.
Atari’s Facebook post responded by pointing out the piece was written about a nonfunctional design model, also saying The Register author “wrote what he wanted instead of what was discussed with him.” The Register rebutted yesterday by posting audio from their GDC interview backing up their statements.

Sony Reportedly Developing Spider-Man Spin-off Movie Silk
Silk, a Marvel comic about Korean-American superhero Cindy Moon, is reportedly being adapted to film.
Deadline reports Silk is in early development at Sony Pictures with producer Amy Pascal. Created by Dan Slott and Humberto Ramos, Silk made her full debut in 2014's Spider-Man Vol. 3 #4 and has since appeared in the Original Sin, Spider-Verse and the Silk solo series story arcs.
Her powers are similar to Peter Parker's, as she possess a powerful Spider-Sense, is able to shoot webs out of her finger tips, and has superhuman speed, strength and stamina.
Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Tournament Details Announced
Bandai Namco has detailed the upcoming Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour, which will include stops in the United States, France, Mexico, Singapore, and the UK. Players will compete for seven dragon balls, a spot at the world tournament, and a $60,000 prize pool distributed among events.
The tournament kicks off June 29 at the CEO Fighting Game Championships in Florida. Bandai Namco is partnering with Twitch for the event, so look to the official Dragon Ball FighterZ Twitch channel for exclusive broadcast coverage.

Remastered Dragon Ball Z Movies Are Coming to Theaters
A few classic Dragon Ball Z movies are coming to U.S. theaters later this year.
EW reports Fathom Events and Toei Animation are teaming up to bring three remastered films with English dubs to select cinemas this fall.
Dragon Ball Z: Broly – The Legendary Super Saiyan will be released first on September 15 and September 17. The 1993 film follows Goku, Vegeta, and friends battling the legendary Super Saiyan Broly.
The Dragon Ball Z Saiyan Double Feature will follow in November and it'll feature two movies: Dragon Ball Z: Bardock — The Father of Goku and Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn.
