Fortnite Gets Motion Controls on Switch

Fortnite's Season 5 update is here and it brings a new way to play for Switch players.

According to the official patch notes, the update now adds gyro/motion controls to Switch. This will let players waggle their Joy-Cons, and can be optionally turned on in Settings.

Epic detailed the downtime for the 5.0 patch yesterday, while the full patch notes were revealed earlier today. Some of the big changes include the map getting an update with a new desert biome, a new vehicle named the All Terrain Kart (ATK), some big updates for weekly challenges, and much more.

Guillermo del Toro Produced Thriller in Talks to Star Keri Russell

Shortly after news of Keri Russell reportedly joining the cast of Star Wars: Episode IX, the actress is now in talks to star in Guillermo del Toro's supernatural thriller film, Antlers at Fox Searchlight, according to THR.

If Russell is cast, she would take on the role of a teacher who finds interest in a mysterious and withdrawn student – a boy who ends up hiding a deadly secret that is the answer to their town's survival.

AbleGamers Donates $10,000 of Gaming Tech to Children’s Hospital

The AbleGamers Foundation, a charity dedicated to bringing visibility and resources to people with disabilities, has teamed up with a number of game industry giants to donate $10,000 in assistive gaming equipment to Children's Hospital in New Orleans.

Alongside Microsoft, HyperX, and Humble Bundle, AbleGamers gifted Children's Hospital in New Orleans (CHNOLA) a number of custom controllers, accessibility devices – including Microsoft's Xbox Adaptive Controller, which was developed with help from AbleGamers – HyperX headsets, keyboards, mouse, and mousepads, as well as a pack of family-friendly games from Microsoft. Humble Bundle contributed proceeds from its Humble Monthly Bundle to the package.

Let’s Go Pikachu, Eevee Version-Exclusive Pokemon Announced

Version-exclusive Pokemon for Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let's Go, Eevee! have been announced.

Both games will feature various Pokemon that can't be found in the other version, and a handful of those have been announced today. Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu! will feature Oddish, Sandshrew and Growlithe. Likewise, Pokemon: Let's Go, Eevee! will receive Bellsprout, Meowth and Vulpix.

In order to catch all of the original 151 Pokemon in either game, players must trade between the versions to complete the set - just like in past Pokemon titles. However, if you want to get Mew, you'll need to purchase a Poke Ball Plus accessory, which comes loaded with the mythical Pokemon.

The first official photos from M. Night Shyamalan's Glass have been released, as well as behind the scenes photos of Bruce Willis.

Entertainment Weekly has exclusive photos of M. Night Shyamalan's Glass, the sequel to 2000's Unbreakable, showing Samuel L. Jackson's Elijah Price (aka Mr. Glass), James McAvoy's Split character Kevin, and Sarah Paulson as the doctor character.

The first poster for the movie was revealed last month and showed the three main characters side-by-side.

Nathan Fillion Might Be Teasing Something Uncharted Related

Actor Nathan Fillion took to Instagram this morning to make a cryptic post that seems to be teasing something related to Uncharted.

Fillion posted a picture of rapper Drake and captioned it "Sic Parvis Magna" ("Greatness From Small Beginnings") along with the date July 16. Nathan Drake is the name of the Uncharted game series' protagonist, while the Latin phrase Fillion wrote is the same one that's inscribed on Drake's ring in the game and served as a sort-of motto for the character after he lifted it from real-life British privateer Sir Francis Drake. As such, speculation has run rampant that Fillion might be starring in the Uncharted movie.

A Young Newt Scamander, alongside the youngest portrayal of Dumbledore we've ever seen, is revealed in this flashback photo, exclusively from Entertainment Weekly and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

Albus Dumbledore played by Jude Law, stands behind a stunned-looking young Newt, played by Joshua Shea, for the upcoming second installment of the Fantastic Beasts films.
