Fantastic Beasts 2: Dumbledore Seemingly Won’t Meet Grindelwald
Jude Law, the actor portraying a young Albus Dumbledore in the upcoming Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, says Dumbledore and Gellert Grindelwald won't actually share a scene together in the film.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Law was asked about Dumbledore's relationship with Grindelwald and what it was like working with Johnny Depp, who portrays the villain.
"I don’t actually have any scenes with Johnny," said Law. "As I said before, this is only Part 2 of a longer story. I’ve always admired him from afar, but we don’t know each other, and I’ve not yet met him on this. In many ways that suits the relationship as it’s been many years since they’ve seen each other. So there’s complexity in that that’s fun to mine."
Middle Earth: Shadow of War Removes Final Microtransactions as Promised
Three months after Warner Bros. announced that all it would remove all microtransactions from Middle Earth: Shadow of War, it seems to have done just that.
New patch notes released today on Steam say that the "Market is removed from the game, replaced with an updated Garrison menu that allows access to your Garrison Orcs, Chests, Training Orders and Boosts."
While the ability to purchase in-game gold was removed in May, players could still use existing gold in the Market until now. The feature's removal marks the last vestige of microtransactions in the game.

The Walking Dead Board Game Inspired By ‘Here’s Negan’ Comic Revealed
Developer Mantic Games has announced a new board game inspired by The Walking Dead’s standalone comic series Here’s Negan.
The board game, also called Here’s Negan, has up to five players take on the roles on Negan’s lieutenants as they clear Walkers out of Sanctuary. Negan himself is also a piece on the board, but moves automatically instead of being controlled by a player.
Here’s Negan is both a competitive and cooperative game, as the players must work together to complete pre-made scenarios while also competing for Negan’s favor. All players lose or win the scenario together, but each is also competing to have the highest Reputation at the end of the game.

Marvel’s New Spider-Man Comic Brings Fan’s Bitter Emotions Back to the Surface
Warning: this article contains spoilers for Amazing Spider-Man #1!
The past few weeks have certainly been eventful ones for the Spider-Man franchise. Writer Dan Slott ended a 10-year stint on Amazing Spider-Man, paving the way for a relaunched series featuring writer Nick Spencer and artist Ryan Ottley. The new creative team wasted no time making Peter Parker miserable in issue #1, including stripping him of his doctorate and journalism career and making him a pariah in the superhero community. But undoubtedly the biggest development in Amazing Spider-Man #1 involves the return of one element many fans assumed they'd never see again - a romance between Peter and Mary Jane. The question is whether this familiar love affair is a positive development for the series or merely a chance for Marvel to make headlines by reviving old controversies.
