Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Is the Black Flag Spiritual Successor We Wanted
BEYOND!
On this week's episode of IGN's weekly PlayStation show Beyond, host Jonathon Dornbush is first joined by producer Barrett Courtney and Xbox editor Brandin Tyrrel to discuss this week's Assassin's Creed Odyssey. The trio dives into their thoughts on the game — be sure to read Brandin's Assassin's Creed Odyssey review — and kick off the first segment of Beyond Versus, where Barrett and Brandin duke it out...with words!
Later, Barrett sticks around with Jonathon, while Max Scoville and Brian Altano join them, to run down the news about the alleged Harry Potter RPG, their thoughts about Astro Bot Rescue Mission, Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise, and, of course, Kingdom Hearts III.

“We’ve worked with Warner Bros. Lethal Weapon: Damon Wayans Announces He’s Leaving the Show
Damon Wayans is leaving Fox's Lethal Weapon television series.
According to a recent interview with Eurweb.com (via Variety), Damon says he plans to leave in December after wrapping on the 13 episodes comprising the show's third season.
“I’m going to be quitting the show in December after we finish the initial 13,” Wayans said, “so I really don’t know what they’re planning, but that’s what I’m planning. I’m a 58-year-old diabetic and I’m working 16-hour days.”
Where the Leaked Harry Potter Game Could Fit in the Series’ Timeline
With the leaked Harry Potter RPG footage that circulated on Tuesday, fans of J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World have been in a whirlwind of curiosity over what it could mean for the series.
A description attached to the video footage said the game would be, “Set in the 19th Century (1800’s) Wizarding World."
Until recently, with Fantastic Beasts taking place in the 1920s, the main timeline of Harry Potter has been focused around the mid-1900s to today. Harry Potter was born in the year 1980, and his parents -- Lily and James Potter -- were born in 1960.
Everything I Got Wrong About Red Dead 2’s Story
After obsessively picking through each of the trailers for Red Dead Redemption 2 as they trickled out over the past year or so, I thought I had a pretty good handle on how things were going to unfold for Arthur, Dutch, and the rest of their band of not-so-merry misfits. I still do, for the most part, but after getting to see the first four hours of the game, I’m glad to say that I was dead wrong on some of the “how’s” of our antiheroes getting from A to B.
WARNING: MINIMAL STORY SPOILERS FOR THE OPENING OF RDR2 BELOW, PLUS SOME HEFTY SPECULATION.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 6: Chelsea Peretti Set to Exit
Chelsea Peretti, who has portrayed Gina Linetti for the past five seasons of Brooklyn Nine-Nine on Fox, will exit the show during Season 6 - but she will probably return as the character in future episodes.
Announced by Peretti on Twitter, she made the send-off in the most Gina way possible: by quoting the letter Emmy Rossum wrote when she announced she was leaving Shameless last month, bolding “relevant" parts like “I taught Emma to shave her legs” and “I tirelessly prepped the audition with my coach Terry Knickerbocker.” The full quoted letter can be found here.
Disney Developing Live-Action Lilo and Stitch Remake
It looks like Lilo & Stitch will be receiving a live-action/CG hybrid remake along the lines of previously released Disney remakes like The Jungle Book and Beauty and the Beast.
The Hollywood Reporter broke the news saying Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich, the producers working on the live-action remake of Aladdin, will be producing this film as well. Ryan Halprin is also set to co-produce.
Mike Van Waes has been brought on to write the remake’s script and is also set to write the upcoming Conjuring spinoff The Crooked Man. The 2002 original was written and directed by Dean DeBlois and Chris Sanders.
10 Best Mega Man Bosses
With the launch of Mega Man 11, what better time to take a trip down memory lane? Over the last 30 years in just the mainline Mega Man games, the evil Dr. Wily has sent nearly 80 Robot Masters after our cobalt crusader. But which were the best of the best?
For this list we looked at mainline Mega Man titles only, meaning the X, Legends, Battle Network, ZX, and Star Force series are all off-limits. On top of that we’re only looking at Robot Masters, meaning this is “mans” only (sorry, Splash Woman). Yellow Devil is great, but it’s got no place on this list.
Let’s take a look at 10 of Wily’s best creations, in order of how much we love them.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: 50 Gorgeous Photo Mode Pictures I Took During Our Review
Assassin's Creed Odyssey is out this week and it's a sprawling recreation of Ancient Greece and the decades-long war between Sparta and Athens for dominion over it.
While I said in my Assassin's Creed Odyssey review that it's the best Assassin's Creed game in the series to date, and I think it's amazing, this is the first game that made me really fall in love with Photo Mode. I'd played around with the mode before in games like Horizon: Zero Dawn, God of War, and recently, Marvel's Spider-Man, but it wasn't until Odyssey that I really came to appreciate how satisfying spending a few minutes to get a great shot can be.
BlizzCon 2018 Schedule Released, Could Hint at Big Things for Diablo
