Star Wars’ Oscar Isaac Says Episode IX Shares Carrie Fisher’s Legacy in ‘A Really Beautiful Way’
Oscar Isaac, who has played Resistance pilot Poe Dameron since Star Wars: The Force Awakens, has said that Star Wars: Episode IX handles Carrie Fisher's Leia in "a really beautiful way."
Speaking to The Daily Beast, Isaac promised that "the still untitled ninth film will pay appropriate homage to Leia - and to Fisher's sense of fun."
“The story deals with that quite a bit,” Isaac explains. “It’s a strange thing to be on the set and to be speaking of Leia and having Carrie not be around. There’s definitely some pain in that.” He does, however, reveal that “there’s a looseness and an energy to the way that we’re shooting this that feels very different.”

George R.R. Martin Is ‘Mad’ He Hasn’t Finished Winds of Winter Too
Though fans of George R.R. Martin’s novel cycle A Song of Ice and Fire are understandably mad about the long wait for the sixth installment, The Winds of Winter, Martin isn’t too happy about it either.
In an interview with EW, after bing asked a question about Fire and Blood (a side book about the history of House Targaryen), he went into fans being upset that it’s been over seven years since the last novel in the cycle, A Dance With Dragons.
"I know there are a lot of people out there who are very angry with me that Winds of Winter isn’t finished. And I’m mad about that myself,” said Martin. "I wished I finished it four years ago. I wished it was finished now. But it’s not. And I’ve had dark nights of the soul where I’ve pounded my head against the keyboard and said, 'God, will I ever finish this? The show is going further and further forward and I’m falling further and further behind. What the hell is happening here? I’ve got to do this.’"
CD Projekt Red Teases Hacking Mechanisms in Cyberpunk 2077
Though developer CD Projekt Red has been quiet on the hacking mechanisms in Cyberpunk 2077, a social media interaction has revealed a bit of what we can expect from the full game.
As reported by PlayStation Lifestyle, Reddit user bboymurchant posted a conversation he had with the official Cyberpunk 2077 Facebook account. He asked how hacking works in the game.
"Netrunning will definitely be an important part of the game, but I can’t tell you much about it,” the account replied. "What I can say is that, gameplay-wise, you’ll be able to hack systems to help you during missions, open doors, distract enemies, etc. You’ll also be able to gain knowledge that you will use to your advantage -- locations of interesting places and so on."
Here’s What’s Leaving Netflix in December

Popular Game of Thrones House Won’t Appear in the Prequel
When Game of Thrones finishes its eight-season run next year, it won't be the end for the franchise on television, but author George R.R. Martin has revealed it may be the end of a certain house.
Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Martin revealed that despite previous implications that HBO's Long Night prequel would be set 10,000 years before Game of Thrones, 5,000 years prior may be more accurate. Still, that's a long enough time to assume many Thrones staples, including House Targaryen, wouldn't have been around.
"'10,000 years' is mentioned in the novels. But you also have places where maesters say, 'No, no, it wasn’t 10,000, it was 5,000.'" Martin said. "Again, I’m trying to reflect real-life things that a lot of high fantasy doesn’t reflect."
