White Shadows Revealed for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X

White Shadows has been revealed, a bizarre, black-and-white narrative platformer due for release on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X in 2021. Shown off during IGN's Gamescom Awesome Indies show, developer Monokel describes the game as, "a modern fable, a distorted mirror of our own world, funny, f**ked up and a little meaningful." Players will take the role of Ravengirl, guiding her escape from the White City, a surveillance state ruled by wolves, and populated by rats and sheep. City of Gangsters, a Prohibition Management Sim, Announced

City of Gangsters, a management sim set in the US Prohibition era, will arrive for PC in 2021. Revealed during Gamescom by SomaSim and Kasedo Games (Project Highrise), City of Gangsters will see you start from nothing in a variety of cities - including Chicago, Detroit and Pittsburgh - set up your illegal operations, and build a criminal empire across the city. Strategy aspects will include researching new technology, building a network of contacts, setting up complementary businesses to hide your illegal operations, and keeping police and competitors at bay. Tamarin Gets a Release Date

Tamarin, a throwback 3D action-platformer from a team of Rare veterans, will hit PS4 and PC on September 10. Starring an adorable monkey on a quest to save his family from evil insects, Tamarin specifically channels classic 3D platformers and Metroidvania shooters, sending you through an interconnected Nordic world and splattering bugs. Lab Rat, a New Narrative Puzzler Revealed

Lab Rat is a brand new narrative puzzle game coming to Steam this winter. Created by Gwen Frey (BioShock Infinite, Kine, The Flame & The Flood), and revealed during IGN's Gamescom Awesome Indies show, the game's designed to feel (at least at first) like a machine-generated puzzle game, but is in fact a hand-crafted narrative.
