"An otherworldly tale of self-discovery and mystery set in the 1930s, Call of the Sea is a love letter to the adventure genre about one woman's search for her missing husband in the uncharted reaches of the South Pacific," a press release for the announcement reads. "On a lush island paradise, you will unearth the remnants of a lost civilization, investigate clues, and solve a variety of clever puzzles to piece together the fate of your husband's expedition."
According to the game's press release, players will explore tropical environments in this "immersive voyage inspired by the surreal emotion, suspense and surprises of H.P. Lovecraft's stories." The game was created in Unreal Engine 4 and tasks players with investigating clues left by the island's previous inhabitants while solving a variety of puzzles to learn of what happened on your husband's seemingly final expedition.

The game's main character — the wife of the missing husband — is voiced by BAFTA-winning actress, Cissy Jones, who has provided her voice to games like Firewatch, Life Is Strange, and The Walking Dead in recent years. You can check out her voice in this video showcasing the first 18 minutes of the game and watch this narrated gameplay video from Gamescom 2020. Jared Leto’s Joker Will Have a Different Look in Justice League Snyder Cut
Zack Snyder has revealed that Jared Leto's Joker will sport a different look in the Snyder Cut of Justice League.
Speaking with Grace Randolph on Beyond The Trailer, Snyder confirmed that the Clown Prince of Crime's look will differ in his version of Justice League compared to his character's appearance in 2016's Suicide Squad. Snyder didn't elaborate too much on what had changed about the Joker's look, but he did briefly touch on one of the actor's additional photography scenes.
"I wanted to, of course, honour what had been created with him because I thought it was really cool," Snyder explained before mentioning the changes to the character. "But there is some water has gone under the proverbial bridge between when last we saw Joker and this appearance. He's a road-weary Joker, I guess that's a way of saying it."
[ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/10/21/jared-leto-to-play-joker-in-zack-snyders-justice-league-ign-now"]
While it's still unknown how exactly Leto's Joker will fit into Snyder's Justice League, we know that there has been only been roughly "four or five minutes of additional photography" shot for the entire movie, so the character will factor somewhere into that new footage. Snyder described the character's scene as a "vignette" that will see a "segment of the band together."
"This scene was... a part of the world that I love and that I felt like needed to be just added to this movie and that… it's really the only thing that I've added outside of the original photography," he admitted, referencing the Justice League reshoots, which involved several returning cast members, including Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, and Ray Fisher.
Leto returning to reprise his Joker role is just one of the many confirmed differences that the Snyder Cut will offer, check out our slideshow below for more or read our individual stories about the new design for Darkseid's herald Steppenwolf, the cut dialogue from Superman and Batman's confrontation, and Joe Manganiello reprising the role of Deathstroke.

Cross-Gen PlayStation Exclusives Are Being ‘Built from the Ground Up’ for PS5
Sony Interactive Entertainment President and CEO Jim Ryan has reassured fans that, although some of PlayStation 5's biggest upcoming exclusives will also appear on PS4, the PS5 versions will be "built from the ground up" to take advantage of the new hardware.
Speaking to The Telegraph, Ryan wanted to address concerns some had over PS5 games like Horizon Forbidden West, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Sackboy: A Big Adventure also coming to PS4
[ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/06/11/horizon-forbidden-west-horizon-2-reveal-trailer-ps5-reveal-event"]
“The first thing to say is that our PS5 experiences or versions of these games are built from the ground up to take advantage of the PS5 feature set," Ryan explained. "So I think offering a PS5 version of these games for the PS5 community and then a PS4 version of these games to the PS4 community, I don't see what's wrong with that."
Ryan previously spoke about the importance of the over 100 million PlayStation 4 owners and how it was "crucial" to keep serving these people for years to come, and he echoed those thoughts in this interview.
“We've got a community of PS4 gamers 100 million-strong. It would be wrong to walk away from those people too early. And they've been engaged with their PS4s this year under lockdown to a greater extent than at any point over the course of the cycle. They're using their PlayStations. They're happy with their PlayStations. Why would we stop giving them games?”
[widget path="global/article/imagegallery" parameters="albumSlug=confirmed-playstation-5-games&captions=true"]
As for how long PlayStation fans can expect to see these cross-generational exclusives, Sony's SVP of Global Product Strategy and Management Hideaki Nishino did mention that the full generational transition from PS4 and PS5 "will take about three years."
The next big known exclusive for PS5 is set to be the 2021 sequel to 2018's God of War, yet there has been no word as whether or not Santa Monica Studios will also be bringing Kratos and Atreus' next adventure to PS4.
Speaking of games appearing on PS4 and PS5, if you purchased Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on PS5, you may have been accidentally playing the PS4 version, and we're here to help make sure you are playing the proper next-gen version.

The Batman: HBO Max Spin-Off TV Series Loses Showrunner Over Creative Differences
HBO Max is already looking for a new showrunner for its TV series based on Matt Reeves' The Batman, after previous showrunner, Terence Winter, exited the show due to creative differences.
This news comes by way of a new report from The Hollywood Reporter, which claims that Winter's vision for the series did not line up with what Reeves and other producers on the show had in mind. HBO Max is currently searching for Winter's replacement, although it and Warner Bros. Television declined to comment when asked about the situation by THR.
[ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/08/23/the-batman-trailer-dc-fandome-official-footage"]
According to the report, the show is internally being referred to as Gotham Central, which is likely a nod to Gotham PD-focused procedural comic book series created by Greg Rucka, Ed Brubaker, and Michael Lark. It ran from 2002 to 2006 and focused on the city's police department and the struggles of working as a police officer in a city like Gotham.
This TV series was announced back in July as a spin-off that takes place in Gotham City during presumably Robert Pattinson's Batman's first year as the caped crusader. This places the series about a year before The Batman on Matt Reeves' Gotham timeline as Patinson's take on the character is set during the Dark Knight's second year in Gotham.
While set during year one, this HBO Max series will focus on the city's police department coming to terms with Batman fighting criminals in the city. It's unclear if Pattinson or Jeffrey Wright's Jim Gordon will make any appearances in the show as specific details about it are still unknown. It's also unclear when this show might premiere on HBO Max, but we do know that The Batman is currently scheduled to hit theaters March 4, 2022.

New Concept Art Revealed for Next Mass Effect Game
New concept art has been revealed for the next Mass Effect game by way of a new art book.
As spotted by Eurogamer, stills from the recently released art book 'Bioware: Stories and Secrets from 25 Years of Game Development' were posted by Tumblr user Felassan.
We can see three images from the upcoming game, showing off new worlds and potential characters. Most notably, one of the artworks contains the same doorway from the official concept art shown earlier this month, suggesting that the ship will feature heavily in the next game.
Via Felassan, the new book introduces the images as “a look at the next Mass Effect.” "A veteran team is hard at work envisioning the next big Mass Effect game," reads the blurb. "Expect amazing new worlds to explore with memorable characters buoyed by the series’ signature choices and consequences."
The pictures are pretty murky at the moment so it's hard to make out specific characters, but it looks like they're investigating some kind of crashed ship, or entering into an underground base. Giant wires are hanging from the trees which look scientific in nature.
There's also an image of some terrifying, oppressive architecture that hangs high above a forest. It looks like there's a city on top of another environment, or at least some kind of structure, a bit like Midgar in Final Fantasy 7. This resembles the Remnant structures from Mass Effect Andromeda, suggesting the next game may return to the new galaxy from BioWare's last outing in space.
The final image shows a structure that looks akin to the series' mass relays, emblazoned with 'MR 7' - it looks as though we're seeing the construction of new relays, which enable far-flung travel across the series' galaxies.
[ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2017/05/12/whats-next-for-mass-effect-unlocked"]
Bioware's next Mass Effect game was teased earlier in November during the N7 Day Celebrations, and is being developed by a "veteran team." We also finally got word on the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, which will comprise all three of the original Mass Effect games in a single remastered package – it will arrive in 2021.
