Fans were left displeased with the removal of many key elements they felt were important to the DC Universe. Four years later, another relaunch under DiDio called DC Rebirth restored many of those missing elements. Before his departure, DiDio had been teasing another line-wide initiative that looked to recontextualize the history of the DC Universe into different “generations,” but given his sudden exit, it’s unclear whether DC will move ahead with that project. Season 7, episode 11 of The Clone Wars was released on Friday, May 1, and Season 7, episode 12 of The Clone Wars, "Victory and Death" will release just three days later on May 4 - here's the official plot synopsis for the series finale: "Ahsoka and Rex must use their wit and skills to survive the turbulent end of the Clone Wars."

Hasbro and Lucasfilm revealed a bunch of action figures and merch from The Mandalorian and Star Wars: The Clone Wars in advance of the annual New York Toy Fair. Among the items on display were Mando Black Series figures including The Child, a variety of other The Child items (that's Baby Yoda to you) including an animatronic edition that is available for pre order at most major retailers for just $60, a LEGO Razor Crest set (that's the Mandalorian's ship, of course), a Darksaber (go Moff Gideon!), Mando's rocket gauntlet, Funko Pop! Vinyls, Build a Bear (Baby Yoda again!), and much more. Square Enix has become the latest company to change plans for PAX East due to concerns over COVID-19 (a.k.a. Coronavirus), scaling back plans for Final Fantasy 14 at the show in particular. While not pulling out of the show entirely, the company's Japanese staff will no longer be attending, meaning a panel session, developer signings, developer photo opps and a fan gathering will no longer take place at the show. Taking into consideration the current situation within the region, sadly SQUARE ENIX has decided to cancel the PAX East attendance of staff who would be travelling from the Japan offices. This difficult decision was based on our desire to prevent any potential spread of the virus and to prioritize the health and safety of our team and our fans." There will still be a booth for Final Fantasy 14 at the show, and experiences like the Ruby Weapon Challenge will still be taking place. Square Enix also has plans for Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Outriders at the show, which appear to be unaffected at time of writing. This is the latest in a slew of announcements centred around concerns over COVID-19.
