Tessa Thompson Says Michael B. Jordan Is Directing Creed 3
Update (12/29/20) - As reported by DailyMail, Tessa Thompson has said said Michael B. Jordan is indeed directing Creed 3.
"He is directing the next Creed. It's going to be ammo, I think, for me, when he is engaging with me as a director," Thompson said in an interview with MTV News for her new film Sylvie. "I'm just going to tell him to dial down the sexiness. But we're not gonna make it until later in the year. So who knows what happens? Another man will be - I don't know if he will still be the Sexiest Man Alive in six months."
Thompson played the character Bianca in Both Creed and Creed 2.
Original story follows.

Michael B. Jordan is reportedly set to direct Creed 3, the third installment of the film series where Jordan stars as Adonis "Donnie" Johnson Creed.
Buried in a report from Deadline about the possibility of No Time To Die, the upcoming James Bond film, skipping theaters for a streaming service, it was mentioned that while MGM still considers Bond to be its "crown jewel," it is also working on a Creed sequel that "Michael B. Jordan is considering to direct."
[ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2018/11/16/creed-ii-review"]
"While MGM is working on a Creed sequel that Michael B Jordan is considering to direct, and a new creative team is aggressively building a promising slate, Bond remains MGM’s crown jewel." Deadline's article reads.
While no further details were given, this isn't the first we've heard about Jordan potentially being picked to direct Creed 3, as producer Irwin Winkler also wrote in his book that he promised Jordan he'd get "his chance to direct Creed 3."
“I promised Michael B Jordan that he’d get his chance to direct Creed 3”, Winkler writes on page 253. On, page 272, he reiterates this. “Last year in a conversation with our Creed star Michael B. Jordan, I offered him the opportunity to not only star in, but also to direct Creed III”.
[widget path="global/article/imagegallery" parameters="albumSlug=creed-2-gallery&captions=true"]
If Jordan ends up taking the role, it will be his directorial debut.
In our review of Creed 2, we said "Just like Adonis himself, director Ryan Coogler proved with Creed that this new iteration of the Rocky franchise could stand on its own and forge its own legacy. Creed II, however, can’t seem to let the past go, abandoning the exciting new path blazed by Coogler in favor of evoking what’s come before, with undeniably diminished results."

Ewan McGregor Wore the Obi-Wan Kenobi Costume on The Mandalorian Set
While Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan Kenobi may not make a cameo on The Mandalorian, he did surprise some of those on set by walking through it in his full Kenobi outfit.
As reported by GamesRadar, McGregor was on the Happy Sad Confused podcast and began discussing his upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ series, and host Josh Horowitz asked him if he was excited to jump back into the character he began playing with Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.
[ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/08/11/obi-wan-kenobi-the-greatest-jedi-of-all-time"]
"Yes. I really am very excited about it. It’s been a long time coming," McGregor said. "I am excited about the fact that it’s a series as opposed to a movie, it gives us more space, and mainly I am excited about it because of The Mandalorian series which I just thought was really good, and we’re going to adopt some of that technology that they utilized in that filming and I’m working with Deborah Chow who directed some of Mandalorian. I’m really excited about working with her, I think she’s really good. We did a couple of tests. When we were going to make a film earlier we did some testing and it was great working with her.”
McGregor was then asked if he fully got into character while doing the screen tests with Chow, to which he revealed that he did and that he surely surprised some crew members of The Manadalorian who were helping with the tests along the way.
"We did it properly. It was a funny moment walking on set because it was a lot of The Mandalorian crew and I walked on – for me it was a big moment. I walked into the dressing room and there were my beige cloaks and my belts and boots and it was like – 'oh my god'."
[widget path="global/article/imagegallery" parameters="albumSlug=every-upcoming-star-wars-movie&captions=true"]
It still hasn't been announced as to when the Obi-Wan Kenobi series will arrive on Disney+, but we do know that Deborah Chow will be directing and Joby Harold will be writing the limited series following the show reportedly going on hold after Lucasfilm president and Obi-Wan producer Kathleen Kennedy was reportedly not happy with the current scripts.
McGregor downplayed the news, saying that the show being on hold will not impact the unannounced release date and that "I’ve read about eighty, ninety percent of what they’ve written so far, and it’s really, really good. Instead of shooting this August, they just want to start shooting in January, that's all. Nothing more dramatic than that."
McGregor also explained that, for now, this series will be a "standalone season" and will begin shooting in Spring 2021.

You Will Lose All Your Oculus Games If You Delete Your Facebook Account
If you own a Oculus Quest, Quest 2, Rift, or Rift S and have linked your Oculus account to Facebook, you will permanently lose all access to your games, purchases, and progress should you happen to delete your Facebook account.
As reported by UploadVR, this news came about following the launch of the Oculus Quest 2, which is the first Oculus headset to require owners to log in with a Facebook account.
As verified by IGN and seen in the screenshot we've captured below, when you attempt to delete your Facebook account, it says "Deleting your Facebook account will also delete your Oculus information. This includes app purchases and your achievements. You will no longer be able to return any apps and will lose any existing store credits."
If you were to deactivate your Facebook account, on the other hand, you would lose access to Oculus products and information, but would be able to get them back if you were to reactivate the account.
This is another issue and fear that have all stemmed from the news that Oculus VR will start requiring Facebook accounts. While Oculus Quest 2 requires it now, those with older Oculus hardware won't have to do so until January 1, 2023. However, first-time users will need to log in using a Facebook account.
As for the Oculus Quest 2 itself, we gave it a 9/10 in our review, and said it "improves over its predecessor in a lot of little ways, with a few small drawbacks like the enlarged controllers and cheaper strap. But its wireless nature, ease of use, and accessible price still make it a killer VR headset."

Many have previously joked that the upcoming Xbox Series X resembles a fridge, and now Microsoft has fully embraced the comparison as it has sent an Xbox Series X-shaped fridge to Snoop Dogg.
In a now-deleted post by Snoop Dog, that was saved by Wario64, Snoop shows off his new fridge that literally looks like a giant Xbox Series X, complete with a glowing Xbox symbol.
What's more, it was filled with an Xbox Series X birthday cake that says "Happy Birthday to the Xbox OG," an actual Xbox Series X, gin and juice in honor of his song, Xbox-themed jewelry, and more. He even ends the video by saying the classic EA Sports tagline - "It's in the game." Snoop Dogg is no stranger to Xbox and video games, as he was recently put into NHL 20 as a playable character and commentator and, in 2013, released his own game - Way of the Dogg - on Xbox Live Arcade, PS3, and mobile platforms. Following that, Xbox leaned into the joke and even provided a look at an Xbox Series X next to a fridge for scale. At EA Play Live 2020, it was announced the Apex Legends would be one of seven games that EA would be bringing to Switch in 2020. However, due to the ongoing issues surround the COVID-19 pandemic, the team decided to delay the game instead of rushing it out for this year.

No Time to Die Was Reportedly Seeking Streaming Deal to Skip Theaters
MGM has reportedly been exploring the option of bringing No Time to Die, the upcoming James Bond film, to a streaming service for a price of "roughly $600 million."
As reported by Variety, Apple, Netflix and other streaming services were looking at acquiring the rights to No Time To Die but, according to mulitple insiders at rival studios and companies, the $600 million price tag was "deemed to rich for two of the free-spending streaming services."
No Time To Die is said to cost more than $250 million to produce and has already lined up several promotional partnerships to "defray these costs - including Land Rover, Omega watches, and Heineken."
[ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/09/03/no-time-to-die-official-trailer-2"]
These promotional deals would be a huge factor in any deal, as some may not love the idea of the movie not arriving in theaters. Variety gave the example of Coming 2 America's sale to Amazon, which was "contingent on making sure that its promotional partners, McDonald’s and Crown Royal, were on board with the change in plans."
It's unclear how far along these talks were and if producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael C. Wilson would sign off on a potential deal. Additionally, Universal Pictures would need to be reimbursed for any expenses the studio incurred during production as it owns the foreign distribution rights to No Time To Die.
MGM has allegedly lost between $30-$50 million due to delays, which could be a reason for these discussion, but it isn't willing to comment on these rumors.
[widget path="global/article/imagegallery" parameters="albumSlug=james-bond-no-time-to-die-character-posters&captions=true"]
“We do not comment on rumors. The film is not for sale. The film’s release has been postponed until April 2021 in order to preserve the theatrical experience for moviegoers,” an MGM spokesperson told Variety.
No Time To Die was originally set to be released in April 2020 but has seen multiple delays due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. James Bond's newest adventure is currently set to hit theaters on April 2, 2021.
