Alien 3 Was Almost a Very Different Movie
Dark Horse Comics just published the first issue of William Gibson's Alien 3, a new comic book miniseries that adapts an unproduced version of the Alien 3 screenplay. Naturally, there are some pretty big changes between Gibson's version of the story and the one that eventually wound up on the big screen.
Scroll down to find out the key differences so far and what might have been had Gibson's work made its way into the final version of Alien 3.
The Setting
Even the setting of Gibson's script is very different from that of the actual movie. Whereas most of Alien 3 takes place on the remote prison world of Fiorina 161, this version instead unfolds in deep space as the Sulaco drifts off course and is intercepted by a crew belonging to a socialist movement called the Union of Progressive Peoples.
Spider-Man Director Sam Raimi Reveals He Initially Didn’t Want Stan Lee to Cameo
Director Sam Raimi, known for Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, and Spider-Man 3, told THR that although he loves it now, he originally thought Stan Lee having a cameo in Spider-Man was not a good idea.
"I got the job for Spider-Man in 1999," Raimi said. "And
Avi Arad said, 'I want you to put Stan in the movie.' And I was like, 'No. I know Stan, and he can't act.' And Avi was, 'I want him in the movie. We did it for X-Men, we're doing it here.' Now imagine you're a minor director in England doing Macbeth and you're told, 'Put the writer in the play.' It sounds absurd. 'Fine, you want Shakespeare in the play, I'll put Shakespeare in the play.' Now it's one of my favorite parts in the movie."
Fallout 76: Bizarre Power Armor Glitch Is Morphing Players Into Half-Naked Beasts
Some Fallout 76 players are running into a strange bug that leaves them half-naked and afraid of their elongated limbs when using power armor.
As reported by Polygon, this issue seems to impact players using all versions of the game. Reports indicate that the glitch can occur when either equipping or storing power armor, randomly causing the player’s arms and legs to grow and become disfigured. Most report they are simply left with only their underwear in shame, though for some the glitch renders their character immobile. The bug appears to have been around since the earlier B.E.T.A. tests.
Massive Black Ops 4 Update Adds Nuketown and Big Changes for Zombies and Blackout

Nuketown has been "reimagined" for Blacks Ops 4 and is available one week early for PlayStation 4 users. In celebration of the return of the classic map, Zombies will now spawn on Nuketown Island in Blackout, with a new Zombie Supply Stash spawn location directly behind the Nuketown sign.
EA Announces Command & Conquer, Red Alert Remasters
Electronic Arts has announced plans to remaster Command & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn and Command & Conquer: Red Alert for PC.
Red Alert's remaster will include all three of its expansion packs – Covert Ops, Counterstrike, and Aftermath – in one package without any additional microtransactions.
The announcement comes just barely a month after Electronic Arts teased that it was exploring such projects. Electronic Arts Producer Jim Vessella acknowledged that excitement and support from the community following that tease was accompanied by "a healthy skepticism" that Electronic Arts could create remasters that lived up to fan expectations.

That’s exactly what happened to Joe Fielder, who worked at GameSpot as an editor throughout the 90’s. On this month’s episode of IGN Unfiltered, Fielder spoke with host Ryan McCaffrey on how the transition from journalist to developer panned out in a successful career helping to design games like BioShock Infinite and the new Underworld Ascendant.
