How Old Is Chewbacca in Solo? And How Does His Age Connect with Canon?

Ever since we first met Chewbacca in Star Wars: A New Hope, we've know that he was old -- much older than his friends Han, Luke and Leia for sure. This was never stated outright in the film, but it was implied in a few different ways, including in the film's marketing and ancillary merchandising. More recently, last month's Solo: A Star Wars Story trailer definitively told us how old Chewbacca is in the movie. But that still has left fans wondering how the big walking carpet's advanced age lines up with the bigger Star Wars timeline. Let's dig into it.

What Simpsons Creator’s New Netflix Show Looks Like

Netflix has shared a first look at The Simpson creator Matt Groening's new animated series, Disenchantment.

The images feature a similar art style to The Simpsons and Futurama. They also include some of the show's main characters, such as hard-drinking princess Bean (Abbi Jacobson) and her elf friend Elfo (Nat Faxon).

Disenchantment takes place in a crumbling medieval kingdom called Dreamland and follows Bean, Elfo, and Bean's personal demon Luci (Eric Andre) as they go on various adventures. The synopsis for the new series says that, "along the way, the oddball trio will encounter ogres, sprites, harpies, imps, trolls, walruses, and lots of human fools."

The rest of the voice cast includes John DiMaggio, Maurice LaMarche, Billy West, David Herman, Matt Berry, Tress MacNeille, Jeny Batten, Rich Fulcher, Noel Fielding, and Lucy Montgomery.
