Respawn Teases Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Release Window
At EA Play today, Respawn CEO Vince Zampella teased its Star Wars game is titled Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
Zampella teased that Jedi Fallen Order's title gives players some sense you'll be playing a Jedi. And that means, yes, you'll get to wield a lightsaber. It takes place during the "dark times" when Jedi are being hunted. Specifically, Jedi Fallen Order occurs between Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: A New Hope. Jedi Fallen Order is aimed for a holiday 2019 release.
Respawn first announced that it was working on a third-person Star Wars game back in 2016, simply calling it "an all-new 3rd person action adventure game set in the Star Wars universe.” The project is led by Stig Asmussen, the former God of War III creative director who joined Respawn back in 2014.

The Many Pale Faces of Halloween’s Michael Myers
When Dr. Sam Loomis first met a six-year-old Michael Myers, he was struck by the boy’s blank, pale, emotionless face, and… the blackest eyes – the Devil’s eyes. And that was before he even put on the mask.
The disturbing appearance of Michael in the original Halloween remains undiminished, despite its simplicity. He wears a dark-blue boiler suit and a modest Halloween mask, which in the fiction of the movie, he steals from a hardware store.
And it really was a Halloween mask, but one depicting William Shatner as Star Trek’s Captain Kirk.
The original Captain Kirk mask that was used as the basis for The Shape's mask.
Jamie Lee Curtis Is “Prepared” for Michael Myers
“How f**king crazy is this?” Jamie Lee Curtis asks us, fully decked out in her Laurie Strode costume and hairstyle, even though she says she’s not even filming anything today. It’s one of the many signs that the production of the new Halloween must be going relatively well. Certainly everyone seems happy to be there.
Jamie Lee Curtis immediately jumps into a story about going in for ballistic training, surprising the local proprietor, and helping him get his merch signed. And when he asked her to shoot a bullet through the cover of his vinyl soundtrack to the original film, you better believe she did it. (And it was her first shot on a bolt action rifle, too.)
But the life of Laurie Strode, her character in the Halloween franchise, isn’t nearly as cheerful. Despite appearing in four of the original Halloween sequels, David Gordon Green’s new film completely rewrites the history of Laurie, and the whole Halloween series. Now, only the first film happened, leaving Laurie - the teenaged survivor of the 1978 Halloween night massacre, perpetrated by the masked killer Michael Myers - in a state of deep, deep trauma which has followed her throughout her entire life.

Everything You Need to Know About Game of Thrones’ Age of Heroes
You're about to hear a lot more about the Age of Heroes, a period predating the events of Game of Thrones by thousands of years.
HBO has ordered a pilot for one of the four Game of Thrones prequels in development, with George R. R. Martin noting that more could be greenlit: "Everything I am told indicates that we could film at least one more pilot, and maybe more than one, in the years to come,” Martin wrote on his blog. “We do have an entire world and tens of thousands of years of history to play with, after all.”
HBO's official logline for the new series reads: "Taking place thousands of years before the events of Game of Thrones, the series chronicles the world’s descent from the golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour. And only one thing is for sure: from the horrifying secrets of Westeros’s history to the true origin of the white walkers, the mysteries of the East to the Starks of legend… it’s not the story we think we know."
