Complete Guide to the Valkyria Chronicles 4 Preorder Bonuses
The next chapter in the Valkyria Chronicles series is coming this fall. Sega revealed Valkyria Chronicles 4 is coming to PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch on September 25. Set in the same period as the original, Valkyria Chronicles 4 introduces new characters, improvements to the battle system, the same hand-drawn art style, and the return of original composer Hitoshi Sakamoto.
There are two versions of the game, both of which are available for preorder right now: a standard edition for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, and a "Memoirs From Battle" special edition.
Anyone who preorders the launch edition of Valkyria Chronicles 4 gets the following bonuses:
Frozen, Inside Out Directors Set as New Bosses of Disney Animation, Pixar
Disney has announced new leadership for Disney Animation and Pixar.
Variety reports Frozen director Jennifer Lee and Inside Out director Pete Docter will be replacing John Lasseter. The duo will be splitting Lasseter's duties, who'll be leaving Disney at the end of the year.
Lasseter was accused of inappropriate workplace behavior last year. He's currently working for Disney in a consulting role.
Lee will be the new chief creative officer at Walt Disney Animation Studios, while Docter will be the chief creative officer at Pixar Animation Studios.
New Rick and Morty Seasons Will Come More Quickly
New Rick and Morty seasons will now be arriving a lot more quickly.
Speaking to Polygon, co-creator Justin Roiland explained the show's recent big renewal will allow him and fellow co-creator Dan Harmon to be more consistent with delivering new episodes.
The wait between Season 2 and 3 was around 18 months. But after the hit animated series was renewed for 70 more episodes earlier in May following a delay, Roiland and Harmon now have job security for the first time.
Call of Duty: WWII United Front DLC Announced
Activision has announced Call of Duty: WWII's third DLC pack, United Front.
Per the PlayStation Blog, the add-on content will come first to the PS4 on June 26. The DLC features three new multiplayer maps, a new War Mode mission, and a new Zombies chapter.
The new maps are Market Garden which takes place in the European Theatre, the war-torn village of Monte Cassino, and Stalingrad, which is based on the "largest confrontation in World War II history."
The new War Mode mission is called Operation Supercharge and has the Allies airdrop into Tunisia to take back a Nazi-occupied village. Players will have to capture supplies, detonate a key transport bridge, and capture entrenched Axis fortifications.

PUBG Announces Major Sales and User Milestones
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has hit some pretty major milestones, including 50 million units sold, 400 million registered players (including mobile users), and 87 million daily players.
In an official announcement via Steam, Communications Lead Ryan Rigney from the PUBG Corp. let fans know these numbers have been reached with Xbox One and PC sales combined. In conjunction with PUBG Mobile registrations, there are now over 400 million registered players, 87 million of which play daily.
In conjunction with these milestones, PUBG is going on sale on Steam for $19.99 from June 19 through July 5, a 33 percent decrease from its current standard price.

Darkest Dungeon Expansion, The Color Of Madness, Available Now on PC
The latest expansion for Darkest Dungeon is available now for PC players.
The $5 USD expansion, titled The Color Of Madness, launches today and is available on Steam, GOG, and Humble Bundle. Developer Red Hook Studios also revealed a launch trailer, so be sure to check it out below.
The expansion will introduce new trinkets, enemy types, and bosses, as well as a new wave-based survival area, The Farmstead. While the developer has confirmed the expansion will eventually come to all platforms on which Darkest Dungeon is available, specific release dates have not yet been announced.
The Color Of Madness begins with a shard of alien origin crashing into the Miller's farm, just outside the Hamlet. The crystalline shard emits a strange color, and begins spreading to the surrounding areas, taking over those souls unfortunate enough to come in contact with it.
Walking Dead Creator Lands Animated Invincible Series
Amazon Studios has ordered an Invincible series from The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman.
THR reports this is Kirkman's first project as part of his overall deal with Amazon. The series will consist of eight hour-long episodes and will be an "adult animated" take on the comic.
The story follows a teenager named Mark Grayson whose father is the most powerful superhero on the planet. Mark begins developing his own set of superpowers after his 17th birthday. The comic first launched in 2003, concluding last February after 144 issues.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Publisher Defends Single-Player Games
With traditionally single-player game studios like Bethesda Softworks and BioWare showcasing persistent-world multiplayer games at E3 2018, single-player-only games' viability is once again a topic of discussion.
But despite his company's most popular game ever benefiting from a multiplayer mode, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick still sees value in single-player experiences. Speaking to GamesBeat, Zelnick said he appreciates high-quality single-player games with strong stories and characters. He's not deaf to all the talk of single-player games dying off, but he isn't buying into that line of thinking.
