Fortnite’s Playground Shutting Down July 12 – But It Will Return with New Features
Fortnite's on-again/off-again Playground mode is about to be off again – before it comes back on again. Epic Games revealed in a Reddit post last night that it would shut down the limited time mode on July 12 so that it can "take it back under construction for the next version."
Playground is a creative mode in which players can tinker around with weapons and build structures for an hour with friends. When Playground goes offline, Epic hopes to add new features like team selection. In the meantime, it's asked Fortnite fans to submit their own ideas about what they'd like to see included in a future version of the mode.
Ant-Man and the Wasp Pockets $11.5M on Preview Night
Ant-Man and the Wasp saw a stronger start than the original movie and Doctor Strange at the box office last night.
Deadline reports the Marvel sequel scored an estimated $11.5 million on preview night. That's better than Guardians of the Galaxy too, which brought in $11.2 million. But Ant-Man and the Wasp falls short of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom's $15.3 million start last month.
Looking ahead at the full weekend, Ant-Man and the Wasp is tracking to bring in $70 million to $80 million. Those numbers would also top the original movie as well.

Has Overwatch Been Teasing Its Wrecking Ball Character Since Beta?
Blizzard revealed Overwatch's newest hero, Wrecking Ball last week and, to most people's surprise, he was a hamster called Hammond driving a mech. But that surprise might have been lessened if we'd spotted a possible clue that's been visible since the earliest public versions of the game.
As pointed out on ObscureWatch, a single billboard visible on the Lijiang Tower map holds a weirdly specific clue. Originally, interest was focused on the billboard's character art. It's unique in the game, and the board can only be seen in specific locations without using a spectator camera.
