ESPN, Disney and ABC to Broadcast Overwatch League
ESPN, Disney and ABC will now broadcast the Overwatch League.
ESPN has announced Disney has signed a multi-year broadcast deal with Blizzard Entertainment. The deal will cover the Overwatch League playoffs beginning tonight, the Season 1 grand finals from the Barclays Center next month, the Overwatch World Cup this fall, and Overwatch League Season 2 next year.
Overwatch matches will be broadcast across the ESPN network, ESPN2, Disney XD, ABC, and streaming services with "hundreds of hours" of live and highlight programming. This will mark the first time the Overwatch League will be broadcast live on TV.
Third Fortnite: Season 5 Teaser Says Worlds Will Collide
Epic Games has shared another teaser for Fortnite: Season 5.
The third teaser image from the official Fortnite Twitter account is bordered by two rifts and says "Worlds Collide" across it.
As Fortnite's fifth season has approached, rifts have appeared across the map and in-game items have appeared in the real world as part of a mysterious ARG. The game's mascots have even started popping up across Europe, with Supply Llamas being found in Poland, England, France, Spain, and Germany
Subnautica Announced for PS4
The aquatic survival game Subnautica is heading to PlayStation 4 this holiday season.
Over on the PlayStation Blog, Panic Button studio general manager and director of development Adam Creighton revealed his company was behind the PS4 port. The studio is also working on Warframe for Nintendo Switch and previously brought Doom and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus to the hybrid system.

Thai Cave Rescue Is Becoming a Movie
The story of a boys' soccer team trapped in a cave in Thailand and ultimately getting rescued will soon become a movie
THR reports Pure Flix Entertainment, the production company behind God's Not Dead, is looking to adapt the incredible true story. The CEO and co-founder of Pure Flix, Michael Scott, wants to honor everyone involved with the rescue effort.
On June 23, rising water trapped a dozen boys and one coach inside a cave, and the rescue effort successfully concluded on Tuesday. Former Sgt. Saman Kunan died Friday while trying to rescue the boys.
The Gardens Between Announced for Nintendo Switch
Developer The Voxel Agents have announced that its adventure puzzle game, The Gardens Between, will arrive on Switch later this year. There's no word on an exact release date just yet, but players can except the Switch version to launch alongside the previously announced PlayStation 4, Windows, and Mac versions sometime in Q3 2018.
Taking place in a mysterious realm where cause and effect are malleable and time flows in all directions, The Gardens Between follows the story of best friends Arina and Frendt. Together they embark on an emotional journey that examines the significance of their friendship and the memories they’ve built. Infinity War Directors Developing New Superhero Comic TV Adaptation
Avengers: Infinity War directors Anthony and Joe Russo are developing a TV adaptation of Valiant Comics' Quantum and Woody.
Deadline reports the Russo brothers are executive producing the series for TBS alongside Spy’s Mike Larocca. Ant-Man And The Wasp‘s Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari are writing the pilot.

The Last of Us Part 2’s Ellie Will Have an NPC Companion
The Last of Us: Part 2 is about honoring Ellie, and Naughty Dog has made a point of implying she may be the only playable character. But in a new interview, Naughty Dog Vice President Neil Druckmann let slip that she'll have someone else along for the ride.
"Well, so, Ellie used to be an NPC, but she’s the protagonist in this story, so the player is controlling Ellie. It’s safe to say with the game that we made in the past that there will be some NPC with you in this story, even though we’re not showing
in this demo," Druckmann told Buzzfeed.
Xbox Game Pass Adds Rocket League
Rocket League is the latest big-name game to join the Xbox Game Pass lineup.
Game director Scott Rudi made the announcement on Xbox Wire, adding that Rocket League DLC is discounted for Game Pass subscribers as well. Speaking of which, Psyonix is working on a Rocket Pass, which follows in the footsteps of Fortnite's Battle Pass.
Last month, Xbox Game Pass added Fallout 4, The Division and The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited.
Netflix’s Sabrina Series Gets Chilling First Poster
The first poster for Netflix's upcoming Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has been released.
Showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa unveiled the one sheet on Twitter. It features Sabrina's silhouette and her cat Salem Saberhagen against a red backdrop. Check out the image below.

While the series doesn't have a premiere date yet, the poster does promise it will be coming soon. It will be a darker take on the property based on the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina graphic novel. The story will follow Sabrina starting her dark education as a sorceress while maintaining a normal life as a high school student.
Wizards of the Coast making a Transformers Card Game
Magic: The Gathering publisher, Wizards of the Coast, has announced a Transformers TCG that digs "deep into Transformers lore."
Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast have revealed their Transformers Trading Card Game, which will debut at San Diego Comic-Con next week ahead of its US release.
Described as a "fast, easy-to-learn action battling card game," players will build a team made up of Transformer character cards that they can power up with "a customizable deck of battle cards," that includes Action and Upgrade cards.
Both cards in the Booster Packs and character cards in the Autobots Starter Set are double the size of standard playing cards, and can be flipped to switch from 'bot mode' to 'alt mode'.
