Nathan Fillion Might Be Teasing Something Uncharted Related

Actor Nathan Fillion took to Instagram this morning to make a cryptic post that seems to be teasing something related to Uncharted.

Fillion posted a picture of rapper Drake and captioned it "Sic Parvis Magna" ("Greatness From Small Beginnings") along with the date July 16. Nathan Drake is the name of the Uncharted game series' protagonist, while the Latin phrase Fillion wrote is the same one that's inscribed on Drake's ring in the game and served as a sort-of motto for the character after he lifted it from real-life British privateer Sir Francis Drake. As such, speculation has run rampant that Fillion might be starring in the Uncharted movie.

"The fear of number 13 is a real thing. How else do you explain no 13th floor stop on elevators, 13th rows on airplanes, or the horror master himself getting all the chills? Even the clinical name for this inauspicious day is scary enough: paraskevidekatriaphobia. As the second Friday the 13th of the year looms, perhaps the unluckiness is mounting. Best to knock on wood, keep the salt close and eyes peeled for black cats and ladders!"

The Bard’s Tale 4’s First Hour Reveals a Deeper RPG Than We Expected

I really liked what I played of Brian Fargo and inXile’s crowdfunded RPG The Bard’s Tale 4 a few months ago. It hinted at a very unique and potentially deep party- and turn-based combat system that role-playing fans would really be able to sink their teeth into. What I didn’t realize until my hands-on with the Kickstarter backer beta, however, is that what I saw last time was barely scratching the surface.

I played the opening hour of The Bard’s Tale IV and was pleasantly surprised at just how deep of an RPG it appears to be. It opened in a town square, with myriad NPCs roaming about to speak with – some of them offering sidequests to undertake. Visually, too, the reborn Bard’s Tale makes a wonderful first impression, with graphics that feel on par with games that have exponentially larger development budgets.

Shazam!: Dwayne Johnson Won’t Cameo as Black Adam

It seems Black Adam and Shazam won't be battling anytime soon.

Speaking to Syfy Wire, Dwayne Johnson confirmed he won't appear as the DC villain in Shazam! But he did reassure the Black Adam solo film is still very much in the works.

"I'm not in that one," Johnson said. "It's Shazam and Black Adam and, with the way the DC universe works, we should — in theory — meet up on the big screen. But who knows."

Shazam! was reported to be split into two movies last year, with the second focusing on Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam. Shazam! hits theaters on April 5, 2019 while Black Adam doesn't have a release date yet.

Fortnite Season 5 Introduces Golf, Basketball, and (Possibly) Volleyball

Just as everyone expected, Fortnite now has a golf simulator. OK, few (if any) fans expected new sports to play inside Fortnite, but that's exactly what they're doing now that Season 5 has begun.

Fortnite streamers and leakers DieBuddies posted a promotional image hinting at in-game golf early this morning before later posting that it was possible to play basketball, volleyball, and golf.

The trio of sports games are made possible through what Epic has dubbed "toys," which Polygon reports are unlocked by purchasing this season's Battle Pass and performing an emote that generates a basketball, golf ball, or volleyball (which looks more like a beach ball but is being called a volleyball by most players).
