Chris Pratt’s Second LEGO Movie Part 2 Character Pokes Fun at His Other Characters
Chris Pratt's new character in The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part will parody roles Pratt has played in other films.
While Pratt reprises his role as Emmet from the first Lego Movie, his second role as Rex Dangervest is essentially a pastiche of previous Pratt roles, such as the raptor-training ex-Navy veteran Owen Grady from Jurassic World.
A clip from the upcoming LEGO Movie sequel shown exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con today showed Rex Dangervest surrounded by raptor pals. Dangervest also dons a jetpack, guns, and a costume that are clear nods to Star-Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy.
San Diego Comic-Con runs from July 19-22, and IGN will be on location to provide you with live coverage from the event. Godzilla: King of the Monsters Will Have at Least Four Different Monsters
Speaking with IGN at Comic-Con today, Godzilla: King of the Monsters director Michael Dougherty revealed that “there’s more than four” monsters duking it out in the upcoming film.
The ones we know about so far are Godzilla (obviously), Rodan, Mothra, and Ghidorah, who is being referred to by the more classic name Monster Zero. We don’t know who else will be joining them yet, but Dougherty jokingly said “It’s a party.”
Silicon Valley star Thomas Middleditch also said “There’s a lot of monsters,” though Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown was actually surprised to hear there were more than four, which means the others could play more minor roles.
New Footage Teases Famous Harry Potter Character for Fantastic Beasts Sequel
Warner Bros. kicked off its Comic-Con panel in San Diego today with the cast of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, and new footage showed Nicolas Flamel, famed alchemist, and friend of Dumbledore.
Aisha Tyler moderated the panel, which included Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Allison Sudol, Zoe Kravitz, Claudia Kim, and Jude Law, as well as Ezra Miller, who wore a Toadette costume. Following the trailer reveal, Johnny Depp showed up in full costume and hair as Grindelwald.

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD Actor Now Series Regular for Season 6
Jeff Ward will be returning as Deke Shaw in Marvel's Agents of SHIELD, according to EW's exclusive studio interview at San Diego Comic-Con.
Ward's character, the grandson of Fitz (Iain de Caestecker) and Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) from a dystopian timeline in the future will become a series regular in Season 6.
We learned in May that Agents of SHIELD was renewed for a sixth season, but will not be returning until 2019. The newest season will run for 13 episodes, which is down from the usual 22-episode seasons ABC has ordered in the past.
IGN just released exclusive news that Clark Gregg will be directing the premiere episode of season 6. The Season 6 premiere, "Missing Pieces," is written by SHIELD showrunners Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen.
Mega Man Cartoon Gets First Trailer – Comic-Con 2018
Mega Man: Fully Charged, the upcoming cartoon starring the Blue Bomber, has received its first trailer.
Revealed during the Mega Man: Fully Charged panel at SDCC, the trailer (which you can watch here) features Mega Man, a whole lot of robot masters, and Mega Man's ensuing powers from defeating those masters.
It's unclear if these are new or old robot masters, though one looks awfully close to Drill Man, and Mega Man definitely references "Fire Man" when using his powers.
Clark Gregg to Direct Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD Premiere Episode
Coulson might be dead when Marvel's Agents of SHIELD picks up in its Season 6 premiere, but Clark Gregg will definitely be making his presence felt. IGN can exclusively reveal that Gregg will be directing the Season 6 premiere episode, "Missing Pieces."
Check out the exclusive script reveal below:
The Season 6 premiere, "Missing Pieces," is written by SHIELD showrunners Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen.
