Dragon Ball FighterZ for Switch Will Have 1v1 and 2v2 Battles, Open Beta in August

When Dragon Ball FighterZ for the Nintendo Switch is released on September 28, it will feature three new local multiplayer game modes that are currently not on any other platforms.

1v1 and 2v2 matches, as well as an offline six-player party match mode, will be a part of the Switch version and will shake up the traditional 3v3 match structure that FighterZ is known for.

Also announced in the same tweet by Bandai Namco, an Open Beta has been announced for Dragon Ball FighterZ on Nintendo Switch that is "scheduled to start in August."

QuakeCon 2018 Lineup Includes Doom Eternal, Fallout 76, Rage 2

Bethesda has announced its games lineup for QuakeCon 2018, including Doom Eternal, Rage 2, and Fallout 76.

This year's event, running from August 9-12 at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center, will see the return of official Bethesda Panels, the Keynote Address, and a BYOC area which will be twice as large as 2017's event.

The keynote will be held on August 10 at 9 a.m. PT/11 a.m. CT/12 p.m. ET and will include a gameplay reveal of Doom Eternal with id Software's Marty Stratton and Hugo Martin. Rage 2, The Elder Scrolls Online, and Quake Champions will be prominently featured as well.

Fortnite Founder’s Pack Skins Are Finally Being Released on One Year Anniversary

Players who purchased the original Save the World mode in Fortnite will finally receive their Founder's Pack rewards for Battle Royale.

Epic announced legendary Warpaint and Rose Team Leader outfits will be included in the v5.1 update set to release on the one year anniversary of Fortnite's official release on July 24. Anyone who purchased any variant of the Save the World mode will recieve these new skins. This includes players who purchase the mode today and in the future.

Darksiders 3 Lead Actor’s Audition Was 4 Words Long

Cissy Jones is no stranger to tough auditions. As a voice actor for games like Firewatch, Telltale's The Walking Dead, and now Darksiders 3, she’s put in some heavy duty hours. Many times, she doesn’t even know what she’s necessarily auditioning for.

Darksiders 3 was no exception, but on the bright side, her recording was written to be only four words long. Jones sat down with IGN's Ryan McCaffrey to discuss her Darksiders 3 audition on this month’s IGN Unfiltered.

Like many of Jones’ gigs, the developers behind the project kept her in the dark on what the specific project was, but did tell her that the character she was portraying was a “badass woman, one of the seven deadly sins personified.”

Guardians of the Galaxy Stars React to James Gunn, Fans Sign Petition to Disney

Just days after controversial tweets resurfaced from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 director James Gunn, resulting in the visionary immediately being fired – fans and actors of the films have come out in Gunn's defense.

A petition on change.org has over 185,000 signatures as of Monday morning and continues to climb drastically to its goal of 200,000. The petition calls for Disney to rehire Gunn and "to realize the mistake they made and not do it again in the future."

Stars of the Guardians of the Galaxy films have come forward on Twitter with their reactions to Disney's decision, most recently Zoe Saldana, Chris Pratt, Karen Gillan, and Michael Rooker.

PES 2019 Demo Coming in August

Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 will be receiving a demo on August 8 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The demo version of PES 2019 will let players play in exhibition match, online quick match, and offline co-op match modes, all playable in FC Barcelona's Camp Nou and FC Schalke 04's Veltins-Arena. 10 teams will be available in the demo, including FC clubs from Liverpool, Barcelona and Inter Milan, and the national teams from Argentina and France.

The full version of PES 2019 is coming to North America on August 28, and the rest of the world on August 30. New features to this year's PES include visible fatigue, which impacts performance and behavior of the players, new shooting mechanics, and improved ball physics.

A Speedrunner Finished All 5 Fallout Games in Under 90 Minutes

A speedrunner completed all five Fallout games in just under 90 minutes, setting the world record in the process.

Speedrunner tomatoanus managed to finish Fallout 1, 2, 3, New Vegas, and 4 in a record-breaking 1:29:47 without load times, according to Speedrun.com. The speedrun was performed on PC with easy difficulty and glitches on.

His previous Fallout anthology speedrun, which was also a world record at the time, clocked in at 1:41:15. You can check out tomatoanus' new and improved run on YouTube. He also detailed some of the many different tricks and glitches he used on his FAQ notes.

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate Will Get Zelda Gear in Nintendo Crossover

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is getting a Legend of Zelda crossover that will kit out your hunter and Palico in Breath of the Wild-themed gear.

A trailer today revealed that the collaboration will see players don Link's Champions Tunic, hood, and wield his Ancient Bow, while Palicos can suit up as a Korok.

The Breath of the Wild DLC released for Monster Hunter XX in Japan last year, but will be available in the west at launch.

Last week, a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Breath of the Wild crossover was announced as part of a free update. The new content introduced Champion’s Tunic Link riding the Master Cycle Zero that was added to Breath of the Wild as part of the Champion's Ballad DLC, as well as the Ancient Tires and the Paraglider parts.
