Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom DLC Detailed, Story Expansion Set for Next Year
Bandai Namco has revealed DLC and Season Pass details for Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom and the first addition will be arriving in a couple weeks.
On August 9, The Adventure Pack DLC #1 will be available for free to all Ni no Kuni 2 players and "adds additional floors to the Faraway Forest Cave, two new bosses: Blackhart and Zeta, and new quests that will be unlocked after completing the game's story."
It is also noted that "Evan and his friends will find new costumes and additional rewards to acquire in the Adventure Pack."
DLC #2 will be released this winter for all Season Pass holders, which is currently priced at $20 USD, and will feature a brand-new dungeon that will see your party "facing increasingly stronger enemies while trying to reach its deepest levels."
6 Updates for Destiny 2 will Launch Week Prior to Forsaken Update
Bungie has released an updated development roadmap that announces the release of a Destiny 2: Forsaken pre-patch launching Aug. 28, one week before the full Forsaken launch.
Six updates will be a part of the pre-launch, including weapon slot changes, giving players a chance to test out the new loadouts on Destiny 2's first year. Bulk shader deletion and 200 extra vault slots are also in the Aug. 28 update, giving players more ease when working with their inventory.
No Man’s Sky NEXT Update Erasing Some Players’ Save Files
The No Man's Sky NEXT update has added many improvements to the game, including multiplayer and a third-person viewpoint, but it also appears to be causing some players' save files to be erased.
Reported and tested by Kotaku, this problem appears to be affecting all platforms. Upon launching No Man's Sky, some players are seeing their save file and hours played but are sent back to the beginning when they load their game, with all their progress lost.
Loading from a previous auto-save or manual save does not appear to solve this issue either.
New Superman Villains Win By Not Fighting Him At All
Most Superman villains are powerhouses who can go toe-to-toe with the Man of Steel. Doomsday, Zod, Brainiac, Lex Luthor in his mech suit -- you know the type. But there’s a new breed of evil, introduced in Action Comics #1001 by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Patrick Gleason, that seeks to commit crimes not by going through Superman but by operating right under his nose.
Warning: full spoilers ahead!
There have been a series of fires throughout Metropolis started by a mysterious arsonist. Normally, Superman can easily spot clues to such crimes by using his super senses, but he can’t figure out who is behind these fires or how they’re starting them without his knowledge. As you can imagine, he’s become frustrated with this case and he’s starting to take it personally. He’s even started asking random criminals he catches -- like a couple of goons who tried to rob LexCorp -- if they have any info, just because he has literally nothing to go on.

Rogue-like dungeon crawler Wizard of Legend has sold 500,000 copies, developer Contingent99 has confirmed today. The news comes days after the release of the game’s latest ‘Nocturne’ update, which “introduces a familiar NPC to Lanova Plaza who will randomize players' runs through the Chaos Trials.”
The update is free and is available across PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Players can reportedly also expect better load times and framerate improvements following this update. Additionally, French, German, and Russian language support has been added across all platforms.
Wizard of Legend, which was launched back in May this year, is currently discounted by 10% for a limited time on PC and Switch.
Locke and Key Series Officially Coming to Netflix
Locke and Key, the TV adaptation of Joe Hill's comic series of the same name, has officially been picked up by Netflix after Hulu decided to forego the project prior to green-lighting its first season.
As reported by Deadline, Netflix has secured a 10-episode order of the horror-fantasy drama. Though an initial pilot was shot and delivered to Hulu, that particular streaming service declined to air the pilot or sign off on a full season.
As we previously reported, Netflix won't use the already-made pilot, instead opting to hire an entirely new cast and director. Carlton Cuse and author Joe Hill will now redevelop the show for Netflix, starting from scratch.
