Topher Grace Recut The Hobbit Trilogy Into a 2 Hour Film

Topher Grace, known for his roles as Eric in That '70s Show and Eddie Brock in Spider-Man 3, made a personal 2 hour cut of the Hobbit Trilogy.

According to IndieWire, Grace created this edit after filming his role as the infamous white supremacist David Duke in Spike Lee's BlacKkKlansman. The role had taken such a mental toll on him, he used the editing process to undo the psychological stress it gave him, bringing him out of a depression.

“I don’t know what other guys do. Go fishing?" said Grace. "For me, this is just a great way to relax. There’s something really zen about it.”

Lords of the Fallen 2: New Developer Scraps Existing Work

Lords of the Fallen 2's new dev is starting from scratch after taking over development from The Surge's Deck 13.

New-York based Defiant Studios is starting over with Lords of the Fallen 2, scrapping any pre-production work on the game made by series creator Deck 13. The game officially moved to Defiant earlier this year.

"It's really a reset, it's a fresh start. It's a new engine - Unreal 4 - and a new team" David Grijns, Defiant Studios managing director, told Eurogamer. "A team which does not have a long and illustrious background in action RPG development, but we actually see it as a strength."

Avengers: Infinity War Deleted Scenes Breakdown

Avengers: Infinity War is now available on Digital HD, a home release which includes four deleted scenes among its bonus content. There’s really one truly never-before-seen scene, however, with the other three being extended versions of scenes that ended up in the theatrical release.

Let's go through what happens in each of those four scenes. Spoilers ahead, obviously ...

Running one-minute and twenty-three seconds, this early scene includes a cameo by Iron Man director Jon Favreau, reprising his role as Tony Stark’s harried security chief-flunky-pal Happy Hogan. The scene retains the larger exchange between Tony and his fiancee Pepper Potts in the park talking about Tony’s dream where they had a child named Morgan. The theatrical version of the scene ends with a portal opening and the arrival of Doctor Strange and then Bruce Banner.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars – What to Expect from the New Season

Thursday, July 20 will be a day long remembered for Star Wars fans. At this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, during the tenth anniversary Clone Wars panel, producer Dave Filoni calmly told a room full of breathless fans that he had a present. As the lights dimmed, those in the room became cautiously enraptured as we were treated to the voice of Captain Rex (voiced by Dee Bradley-Baker), and suddenly the hashtag appeared… #CloneWarsSaved! The atmosphere was electric, and fans roared with excitement, tears, and unabashed jubilation as the all new trailer debuted.

The twelve-episode season will presumably pick up where the series ended in March of 2014, and will run on the upcoming Disney streaming service. And for fans of the Emmy-award winning show, who have lamented its cancelation for years, there is cause for speculation in addition to celebration. What are we going to see? There are a number of threads left out there in the galaxy far, far away that deserve to be untangled, so let’s explore a few.

Riot Explained: Who Is the Marvel Villain in the Venom Movie?

The latest trailer for Sony's Venom movie offers a much better idea of both the general tone of the movie and its storyline. Not only that, it seems to confirm that Riz Ahmed's Carlton Drake will transform into Riot, one of many symbiote villains from the Marvel Universe. (And no, that is not Carnage in the trailer!)

While even casual Marvel fans are probably familiar with Venom at this point, Riot is a much more obscure Marvel character. Here's everything you need to know about Riot and how the movie is drawing from Marvel's comic book universe.
