Patrick Stewart to Again Play Jean-Luc Picard in New Star Trek Series
The magnanimous Jean-Luc Picard is returning to the Star Trek universe, with none other than original actor Sir Patrick Stewart reprising the role in a new series.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, the new series will be coming to CBS All Access, the network's subscription streaming video on demand service. Though its premiere date, episode count, and even proper title have not yet been announced, it has been confirmed that the show is not a continuation of Star Trek: The Next Generation, but an entirely new series that follows Picard in the next chapter of his life.

Why Gloomhaven’s Creator Has ‘Mixed Feelings’ about Popularizing Super Expensive Games
Gloomhaven is a big game. Weighing in at 22 pounds and costing $140, it’s so big that creator Isaac Childres wasn’t sure anyone would even buy it. But roughly two years after its first release, not only has Gloomhaven sold roughly 120,000 copies, it’s has proved that people aren’t afraid to buy expensive board games.
That’s opened the door for lots of other designers to offer bigger boxes tagged with $100+ prices. You’d think Childres might be thrilled about being a trailblazer, but he actually has mixed feelings about it all. Why? Because he thinks some people are abusing this newfound market.

An Enormous $150 Cthulhu Statue Is the Most Insane Game Expansion We’ve Ever Seen
I thought the biggest game piece at Gen Con 2018 would be the ludicrously large Super Star Destroyer figurine for Star Wars: Armada, but oh boy was I wrong. An upcoming game called Cthulhu: Death May Die from publisher CMON has created probably the most insane expansion pack ever made.
While the base game costs $100, the $150 R’lyeh Rising expansion adds a finale mission to the game that is played on your very two-foot tall Cthulhu statue. That’s right, this massive beast is basically just the coolest game board in existence.

FIFA 19: 6 Changes That Will Actually Make a Difference
It’s that time of year again, where EA announces a new FIFA game and gives the incredibly subtle tweaks it’s made to a fundamentally similar game really grand names. ‘Dynamic Tactics’! ‘50/50 Battles’! The ‘Active Touch System’! As ever, these names mean almost nothing by themselves, and most of these changes won’t become truly apparent until we’ve logged a hundred hours with the game - and we’ve only played about two so far.
That said, after our hands-on we’ve spotted some changes that are already making themselves felt - here are seven new features that’ll actually make a difference in FIFA 19.
